Dusta, I dunno if Id say yesterday was short. I had in my 8 hours, I started early, so ending at 3 was my 8th hour :) So glad that everything is all ready for Mel to come home soon! If we have BLT's, will go to the store and get lettuce and tomato LOL

Day is going well. The weather is nice!

I gotta say, this Red Robin salad is wonderful. I subbed it for fries last night. What a great salad :) However, its rather small. After eating it, Im still not satisfied for lunch. So I warmed up about 1/2 cup of my stir fry from yesterday too. A healthy, tasty lunch!

    Hi My Healthy Friends!

I had a super busy day - errand day and also we had Macie Girl. She did so good. I was happy with her attitude while shopping and such- she loved it when she saw boxes her oatmeal and graham crackers- held them. cute.... We went to lunch at Subway with Clay and Becky. Then we had to run by Sam's for some chicken for our cookout on Monday and bought a rotisserie one for this evening. DH's neice and Sister in law are coming to spend the night- this is the neice that lost her husband not long ago(remember he took his life) and her mother. Anyway, it'll be a bittersweet visit-  since this is the first time we have seen them since the service.

I am going to bake some potatoes and make a salad to go with the chicken for supper. Our company should be here at 7ish. I have the upstairs all good to go. I changed the sheets on both beds last night.

I am planning on making a big country breakfast in the morning- Ryan and Crystal may come too- so Ruth and Gail can meet sweet Macie girl. They haven't seen her yet.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening. Wish I could chat longer but need to do some things- oh yes, I really should start the potatoes. LOL

Dusta, so happy Mel will be good to go on Monday. Woo hoo!

Toodles Healthy Ones! Love you all!

It's better to look back on life and say:  "I can't believe I did that." than to look back and say:  "I wish I did that."

well we're still in Keystone, naughty we decided to stay an extra night, so Jack called work to see if he could and they said okay, so there you go!  The kids choice tonight - pizza at the hotel and a movie on PPV - ah the simple pleasures.  I'm on the deck right now with Ross's laptop and life is good.

today we got a little sun and were out walking quite a bit, the kids wanted wendy's again for lunch so I had that yummy salad again - so delish!  When we get home tomorrow I will go to the grocery store and get all my produce for the week - all these lovely fruits and veggies!

I am tired since I just don't sleep well at this altitutde - frustrating to say the least.  You wouldn't think it would bother me that much we already live at altitutde!  dumb.

Sounds like everyone is having a great week,we are having too much fun up here but will be good to get home too.  later my lovelies!

Rebecca, sorry you dont sleep well at the different altitude. Ive never really spent a lot of time at a higher altitude. Mt Rainiers visitor center is 5400 feet and Ive spent hours up there, but never slept at that hight. And Mt Haleakala on Maui, the highest we went was 10k or something. I could tell it was much harder to hike around there. Im so happy youre enjoying yourself though, and could stay another night. We finally broke down and saw Hunger Games tonight. I liked it, but it wasnt as good as I hoped. Still love the books much more.

Muril, hope your weekend visit goes well with family. Youll be in my thoughts! Enjoy the big breakfast! Yum!

Gonna head to bed here real soon. Im hungry... and hate to go to bed hungry.Might just have a bottle of water.
