    Happy Saturday Morning Junies!

It is supposed to be in the 90's again today and tomorrow. So, AC is on and running already.

We had a tad bit of rain Thursday, but not nearly enough to really help, they have updated the area to a severe drought.

Not much planned for today.  Need to run out and check my plants, I didn't get out last night to water and want to water before it gets too hot.

Lisa - hope you had a nice anniversary.

Margie - so glad you were able to get on high speed, isn't it wonderful!

    ((Sherry))

Enjoy the day ladies. Hugs to all....................

Good morning all.  Dreary day here but only to be in low 80s, maybe we'll get rain but when you look at the radar it comes up to within about 20 miles of our county and stops, either goes away or goes north and south.  LOL  Doesn't like us.  Made granola and O'Henry bars and now waiting on Ed to get back from landfill.

Had a great day with Maggie.  She went down for her nap ok, phone rang as she was almost off and then had to get her down again but then she slept fine.  Her parents had gone car shopping and found a top of the line used mini van and so they bought it and spent another 3 1/2 hrs waiting on paper work to leave and this was a cash deal.  Hate car dealerships and all the mess to get a car.   You'd think you were selling them something.

Dinner was nice with Holly and Daric and Maggie and then Scott and Kristine came later, had a quick dinner then took Maggie home.  On FB Kristine said Maggie cried cause she missed teh car they traded in.   :)  They haven't introduced her to the DVD player in the back, and it will only be for over 2 hr trips.   I was told last eve they are going to have a practice night at our house, where Maggie will sleep over to prepare her for when the baby comes.   :)  We use the blow up mattress for Maggie to sleep on for naps and she loves it.   So she has her bed ready.

Going out for pizza with Ginger, Scott and family and their pastor and family tonight.   :)

    Happy Saturday Junes!

We have had such busy days lately, can't believe I'm saying this, but once school starts I should have MORE time!!   Casey and Noah took gymnastics this past week.  Noah did great, he realized how hard it really is!!  Yesterday was Noah's 14th birthday!!  I had a moment yesterday, my kids are growing up so fast!  Noah will be a freshman this year, Casey goes into 7th grade.  WOW - where do the years go!!!  Karl and Jake will start their 2nd year of college, hard to believe it!

We spent last weekend with my mom, Noah went to a football camp up there.  He really enjoyed it, so I'm sure we will be back next year.   It was nice to see him having such a good time.  Even though it was 90 degrees!!

Today we HAVE to go grocery shopping, we are pretty much out of everything!!  I'm still working on my menu's for the week, then off we will go!!  I've seen all the stores have school supplies on sale this week, I'm sure ill get what we need, as long as it's on sale.

Margie, so glad you got some rain,  hope you have a great day!!

Patti, my brother lives in your area and also says how dry you all are.  Hope you get some rain soon.  How is the remodel going??

Jill, sounds like you had a great day with Maggie.  When is Kristin due?  How long will she be in the hospital?  When our kids were born, I packed small snacks in my bag, and when DH brought the kids to visit, I had snacks to give them.  Helped them to sit a little longer, and no one minded coming to the hospital!

Enough of my rambling, need to get moving and finish my menus.  Hope you all have a wonderful day today.

    Good Morning Ladies,

I'm getting on here later than I wanted to today. It's a beautiful sunny day today. Frank and I took our walk this morning. We had breakfast, and I washed one load of clothes and hung them on the line. Sheets are in the wash now, and those will go on the line when they're done. I still have to make our bed. Later this afternoon, Frank and I are going to a car cruise. it's one we've never been to before, and its almost an hours drive. Frank called about it, and it sounds very nice. We'll eat there too. On the way home from our walk, new people were moving into a house down the street from us. We stopped and introduced ourselves, welcoming them into the neighborhood. It will be nice having a young  couple living there. The other people who lived there trashed the house, and ended up losing it. The house has been remodeled, and looks so nice now.

Thats all for now. Hope everyone has a great day!

    HUGS!

Morning everybody. After I got to sleep about 1 am (had to unwind from that mess yesterday) slept fine until about 5 am and then woke up with a horrible calf and foot cramp that I couldn't shake. Was sort of screaming and almost crying at the same  time. Finally it let up  a bit and I went and took a muscle relaxer and went back to sleep and then overslept, but it is gone now. In the middle of the night realized that in the mess yesterday had forgotten to put in an order for the internal medicine group so called to check on my badge and on that and the new guy has a wonderful nurse today and she had already taken care of everything. So I will go in and pick up my badge later.

Because the last two days were so horrible I am probably going to have 2 me days and do as little as possible. So it is likely hot dogs will be on the agenda for tonight and something equally easy for tomorrow night. So thankful that most days are not like that one and the previous few  like Monday and last Wednesday were pretty good actually. I should have had my fill of horrible days for awhile.

Will probably read on my Nook, crochet and maybe work on some recipes, but first I am going to have some coffee and maybe some breakfast. Or I might be bad and just grab something while I am out going to post office, hospital to pick up badge and Lowe's to get a new AC filter. Lunch will be leftovers I'm sure since I have pork chops and stuffing, pepper steak and leftover pasta and meatballs that I need to do something with.

Not sure what weather will be but has been looking very monsoony so will try to swim somewhat early before storms come up and I can't.

Margie, that is a lot of rain.

Dowie, enjoy shopping trip with DDs. I don't understand that Colorado thing either :-(

Jill, glad you get more Maggie time and they were able to find  a good minivan.

Patti, does your garden have anything in it? Know you were going to do a smaller one this year.

Waving hi to Denise, Jan, Deb, and whoever else I missed.

Sorry I have been so whiny last couple of days. I should be better after a couple days off. Thought I would never make it today almost.

I have a prayer request if anybody is so inclined. I got it from Gregg's great niece Amanda. She has a younger brother named Chris who has a 2 week old newborn baby. Baby was air-evacuated to Orlando Florida yesterday. He has a blood clot in his heart and a lot of brain swelling and hemorrhaging. Not sure what all else is going on, but this would be serious for anybody, but especially in a 2 week old baby :-(. His name is Colton.

Good afternoon everyone & happy Saturday :) 84º here, heading for 90 with fairly low humidity.....lovin it! Starting tomorrow, it's to heat up again - upper 90's & 100 plus forecasted - not lovin it, lol!

This is what I was doing this AM.....I'm happy with how it turned out & the birthday girl loved it! Have 2 sheetcakes for next weekend, so will be in the kitchen again Friday; would be especially happy if it cooled down a bit by then. My gf & I are getting together later; it's been almost a month since we really talked, so looking forward to it!

Margie, wow....that's a lot of rain in one hour; hope you don't get much more! Glad you're enjoying the new internet!

Patti, keeping you in my prayers for rain; it's terrible how bad some areas are. :(

Jill, nice S & K found a new vehicle. Nice you're able to have dinner out with all the kids this weekend :)

((Jolene)) Happy Birthday to Noah! Believe me, I feel your pain about him being a freshman; hope the next 2 for Casey go REALLY slow!!!

Denise, hope you & Frank enjoy the car cruise!

((Sherry)) sorry the hospital was so bad; hope you can really relax today. How awful about baby Colton; will keep him in my prayers.

Theresa, hope you're feeling better today.

Take care all, will see you in the AM! hugs,
