    Good Morning june friends....

41* here this morning ... Brrr... Sunny & 70* or so today. We had some rain Monday night into yesterday AM ... Then a few showers after that.

Lil man's game got cancelled yesterday evening ... The field was too wet... Not sure when the make-up game will be yet. He has games into Oct. Then Oct. 8th tournaments will start.

I have been busy with different things ... Feels good to get some more things knocked off of my "to do" list.

I have laundry started and a few other things done ... Also have some cleaning this morning and a few errands to run later.... DH is going to mow with the riding mower later ... So I may go ahead and get the trimming done.

Hope everyone has a good day~ Deb

    Good Morning Ladies,

HAPPY WEDNESDAY! Boy, did we have heavy rain overnight, heavy winds too. Some parts of CT lost power, but not here. At least our new roof passed the test, no leaks. Except for some wind today, the storm is gone. I think the next few days will be nice ones. Frank and I will walk this morning, then after breakfast, I'll finish up fall cleaning in the kitchen. I'll be glad to have one room finished. Supper for tonight will be breakfast, omelets, fruit toast and coffee.

Thats all for now. Hope everyone has a great day!

    HUGS!

    Happy Wednesday Morning Junies!

It's a chilly 40º this am, we had a frost warning out for overnite, but I don't believe we got any.  Will know better when it lightens up a little outside.

It was so nice to see mom sitting in her chair in her apartment.  She looked marvelous and so happy to be home.

Today I have my usual Wed. chore of bedding to do, will go and do our bed after I post this.

After dropping the boys off this morning, I need to stop at Super WallyWorld to pick up some things.

Supper is going to be BLT's and sweet potato tator tots.

    Enjoy your day ladies!

    Hugs.................

Good morning Margie and all the Junes,

Like Margie, Deb and Denise we had "lots" of rain and thunder yesterday afternoon and also under a tornado watch. Thank goodness there were no reports of any touncing down anywhere.

I got a pedicure yesterday and not I have "Happy Toes". I just love getting my toes some attention. LOL.

Patti, I am so happy that your Mom got to got home, I know she is loving it.

My beef short ribs were "excellent" last night. I cooked eight rather large ribs and we ate two apiece so we have enough for another meal. I think I will wait and have them tomorrow night. Tonight I am thinking fried catfish, coleslaw and Arby's frozen curly fries.

Waving hello to Sherry, Becky, Kim , Lisa, Shelia, Laura,  Jill, Kathleen, Theresa, Jolene, Belle Janice and anyone that I have missed.

To all have a lovely day,

Good morning all.  Super windy all day but only got about 1/2" rain, others around us got more.  To be in mid 70s today.  After I walk need to wait for call then pick up an order, usually my friend picks it up but they are traveling today and so when the truck leaves it he calls the people to pick it up.  Organic chicken tenders were a good price so we are stocking up plus some wheat berries for another friend etc.  Will drop off all that isn't my order at friend's house then come home then after lunch head to blood bank then meet Holly and dress and other shop.  Wedding is now Nov 24th but waiting to see if the one venue works out or need to look further.  This will be a roller coaster ride for the next 2 months.   :)

Got my cake made for Ed's work then met Kristine and Maggie at Sam's and then on to lunch at Chicfila.  Had a nice time, then got home and got my yogurt made.

Patti, glad you Mom came home.

    Gotta run.

Morning everybody. Had to get up early because I have a mandatory at 7:30. I think it is  a mock code blue. Then might have to run over to the main hospital to where the one doctor is to get him to sign an RX for a discharge for one of the patients if the RN needs or wants me to. But otherwise off the next three days.

Not sure what dinner will be. Usually am tired of leftovers by the time I have worked two days. Might do breakfast for dinner or spaghetti or maybe something else but not leaning toward anything too hard.

Gotta run by post office after mandatory and mail something and check my mail. Then am going to try to straighten up a bit around here and maybe recipe scrapbook a bit since I have the new cartridges. Definitely going to be mostly a me day...but need to work on some parish nurse stuff and need to call a guy at church and check on him. Guess he was in hospital last week.

Will also try to swim if I can and shock the pool. Won't be all that many more swim days, so gotta try to swim when I can. Water is starting to get cooler, so may need to do it earlier in the afternoon. Have not checked weather for a few days.

Margie, your dinner sounds yummy! Glad you didn't get any tornadoes yesterday!

Lisa, nice of Don to cook most of dinner. Sorry volleyball teams all lost.

Patti, your dinner sounds good too. I would never turn down a BLT!

Waving hi to Jan, Janice, Deb, Jill, Denise.

Jolene, sounds like the rat race has started again for you.

Kathleen, would like to get out at least some of my fall decorations. Not sure I am going to do them all, but would like to get out at least a few of them. Maybe tomorrow.

Sheila, nice of you to help your friend and your dd.

Will probably be back on later. Have a great day everybody.

    Good morning,

It seems that we all have the same weather, no matter where we all live.  Except for the frost warning!! Hahahaha.  Everyone's dinner sounds so wonderful.  I was planning on breakfast for sinner, but plans changed and now its chicken cutlets with rice and roasted brussell sprouts,

I made salad for lunch with oatmeal for breakfast!!  Oh My  I made fresh beet salad on Sunday.  I LOVE IT!!! I remember my mom making it when I was a kid.  Boy o boy its a new favorite of mine.

I have been walking again but tonight i will give my foot a rest.  Besides i weigh in tomorrow and I dont like to excercise the day before.  I think I have hurt mu rotator cuff??  My arm is killing me!!!  Nope not going to the dr either.....

Waving hello to Margie,Patti,Lisa,Jan,Denise,Deb,Sherry and anyone else i missed.

    Kim's post 9/19/12

    Good Morning June Friends!!

Did not get the kitchen quite done yesterday.  My allergies kicked in and that was that.  I am real close though and will get it done and maybe even the wall into the living room that is going to the spiced cinnamon.  I also want to get the curtains done up.  The big item is fold laundry and get things cleaned up.  You all saw how bad it has gotten during my painting.  Time to get it looking more like a family of four lives here and not a horder.  I did manage to get the table cleaned up and the kids and I ate at it last evening for the first time in about 4 days.  My ankle is bothering me this morning, but that is only because The door slammed on it last night when I put the dog out.

I am thinking either hamburger helper or breakfast for supper.  If I go with breakfast, it will be waffles or pancakes, bacon, fruit and eggs for anybody who wants them.  I bought some syrup at Fry's the other day that I am wanting to try.  The two flavors are Vanilla Spice and Cinnamon Maple.

Have a wonderful day my wonderful friends.  Hugs and Prayers for each one of you.

    Hello Ladies,

Well,  I guess I fell asleep on the couch last night.  Last I remember, Ray was going up to bed and I told him that I would "be up in a few" next thing I know it is 5 this a.m. and he is leaning over me giving me a peck on the cheek and saying goodbye.  OOPS!

Jill, enjoy the wedding planning.  It does sound like it will be a whirlwind, but most wedding planning is.  Just think, instead of taking a year or two to plan like a lot of weddings,  it will all be over by the holidays!!  What fun :)  Can't wait to see pics.

Patti, so glad your mom is back home where she belongs!

Not expected to be as hot today as it had been.  Don't get me wrong, will still be hot, just not as.  ONLY going to be in low 90's instead of high or into 100.  ugh.

My sister Priscilla and my newest niece, Sarah are coming over today to visit.  Sarah is now 2 mos old and just as cute as can be!  I am making chicken salad sandwiches, choco covered strawberries for lunch.

Dinner tonight is going to be pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and more of the watermelon and pineapple.

    Have a great day, everyone

    Kathleen

    Hi Junes

Not much time today, just got back from my walk, need to jump in the shoewer and run to the store.  Yesterday's list didn't get done at all, things changed and I ended up running a bit.  Between today and tomorrow I should get it all done.

Still rainy and cool here, only in the 30's when I got up, had to turn the heat on!!  Sprinkled a bit on my walk, can't wait for this weather to go away!  3 days of rain is too much!

    Need to run

Hope you all have a wonderful day, stay dry, warm and safe :)

    Morning all,

It has been a crazy few days between work and family.

My Sil brother has been in the hospital..chemo made him sick.He has leukemia and has a hard time with the chemo.Plus they were going to do a gall bladder test and see if that is part of the problem with him being so sick.

Then my bff is needing prayers also. She had a couple of ultra sounds done on her overies. The first test they found cysts. The second one showed a mass as well. She went to to the doctor Sat. and he told her he thinks the mass is cancer. She says it's 4 in.wide.She is going to see a gyno that he recommended.Praying for the best for her and Sil's brother.

In the meantime my dear niece Tami pm. me on FB yesterday. We were doing pretty good when she starts in that Pooh is no longer to be called Pooh we are to call her by her given name Ashlyn Leighann Johnston and thats that She said Pooh is not on her birth certificate and she is to be called by her given name. All this was done in Caps.I think the kid is gone wacko.

    Work is work..crazy.

The weather has been nice and fall like.No rain not even the past wekend when we were suppose to. The temp is 68 right now.
