    Happy Monday Morning Junies!

It's a chilly 38º, but will get up to 70 today.  Today I need to vacuum and general cleanup after the weekend of everyone in and out.

Royce is on his way up north. His brother who retired, does construction work on the side.  Royce is layed off this week, so, he's heading up by him to help him and earn some extra cash.  Easy suppers this week for me!

     Enjoy your day ladies!  Hugs...........................

    Good Morning Ladies,

Hope everyone is doing well this Monday morning. it's going to be a cool day today, with temps only getting into the 60's. There's no time to walk this morning. Frank and I have our annual physicals with our primary dr today. Oh, I want coffee! We have to fast, so will probably get breakfast after our appt. We also have to stop at CVS to pick up some vitamins. I have towels to wash when get home. I also want to call my  niece and see if she's up for a visit this week. I have a gift for her new baby. Supper will be stuffed peppers, bread and salad.

We had a nice time at the cruise yesterday. There was a good turnout, over 100 cars.  We left around 3pm, after they gave out the trophies. Frank did not win anything. It was a beautiful day to be outside, warm and sunny. We both got burnt a little. We had an easy supper of soup and grilled cheese. last night, we relaxed and watch part of the Emmys. It was a long day, and being in the hot sun tired us even more. We didn't stay up late, but at least we both slept good.

Thats all for now. Hope everyone has a great day!

    HUGS!

Good morning June friends :) Very chilly 35º here this AM, under a frost advisory...brrr!! Chilly in the house too, but I am resisting turning the heat on yet.

Since we were all up late Saturday, we slept in yesterday, then had a late breakfast; between staying busy inside & out, and Danielle using the computer for homework, I never made it here. Was able to peek at FB on my phone, but for whatever reason, I cannot get on the BB from it.

Have laundry, need to vacuum, bake cookies and either bread or rolls as I haven't made any in a long time. Got most of my fall things put out yesterday, will finish those today too. Supper will be either pork chops & scalloped cabbage or steak & mushroom gravy over rice with a veggie.

Margie, nice you were able to visit with your parents.

Patti, glad Royce is able to work with his DB this week.

Denise, hope your appts. go well; glad you enjoyed the cruise.

Sorry if I miss anyone; wishing all of you a great day..........hugs,

Good morning all.   42 at wake up and to be low 70s.  Going to friend's for lunch, bringing chicken salad.  Will also do some errands before.  Supper will be tamale pie.

Found some local bakeries that do cheesecakes so sometime soon Holly and I will go taste test and also see if they will do it for the wedding.  Should be fun.

    Not a whole lot else.

    Good morning Junes,

I know I have been MIA(LOL) but we were very busy at the beach with BIL and SIL. Had a nice dinner out for SIL's birthday and then came home for ice crean and cake. Saturday we took the ferry from Soouthport to Fort Fisher and then to Wilmington for some shopping. Had a wonderful lunch at Wrightsville beach and then we shopped at several stores and then to Whole Foods to get some things for dinner. It was a new store that had just opened and it was a "great" store. We had so much fun shopping in that grocery store. Wish we had one here.

Busy monday morning so let me get back to work.

    Happy Belated Birthday Kim,

Good morning.  In the 30's this morning, but to get to 70 this afternoon.  All week is to be nice.  No rain in our forcast though.  Which means I need to water a few things.  I still have some cabbage, cauliflower, rutabaga,  beets and a zuchinni growing.  I also have some flowers still blooming.

We ended up not doing what we had planned yesterday.  We cleaned some in the morning then spent the afternoon watching Christmas movies.  In the early evening we picked up the truck.  It is so nice to have heat in it again.  Supper ended up being hot dogs, so tonight I'll make the shipwreck for supper.  Dh will also clean the chimneys today.

Waving hello to all, enjoy your day.  Becky

Margie, what is your favorite movie? You have my curiosity up!

Patti, nice that Royce can get some work with his brother for this week!

    Lisa, Brrrr.

Denise, sounds like soup and grilled cheese was the go to meal yesterday.

Jill, cheesecake sounds wonderful for wedding. Holly is a young lady after my own heart!

Jan, bet Wrightsville is an interesting place

Becky, unreal that your dd has already had snow flurries 3 times up there. I can't fathom that when it is still in the low 100's here!

Debbie, nice you will have weekend off.

Kim, what a pain with the extra dogs that don't get along with yours.

Belle, you just crack me up (LOL).

Deb, how did Little Man's makeup game go yesterday.

Watched the end of the Patriots/Steelers game yesterday. What a close game. I can't believe the Cards have won all their games so far. This is unheard of (LOL).

I will have somewhat of a busy day. Can't really have an entire me day but will have as close to it as possible. May have to go by hospital and get flu shot tomorrow even though I am off. Yesterday wasn't bad, except that the 3rd floor, which is the one I usually work on, had 2 rapid responses within 30 minutes of each other. Felt so sorry for that nurse.

Gotta run by post office for sure and mail a package, pay a bill or two, do some work on parish nurse nurse stuff if I can get to it (which is pretty enjoyable) and mail a few cards out to people if I can find their addresses....and want to try to get around to cleaning off the freezer and table so I can put out some of my fall decorations. Also want to swim. Thinking of beef fajitas for dinner and may make a chocolate cherry oatmeal cookie recipe which is new to me and uses applesauce instead of oil...but only if I can find my wheat flour.

May or may not end up scrapping some recipes.

     Happy Monday Junes!!

A cool windy day here, started in the low 30's, up into the 40's already, have a football game tonight,  will bundle up for this one!!

Had a busy weekend, alot of running, got Dh to put up a shelf for me downstairs so I can move some things around and get things better organized.  Now just need to find the time to do it!!

Kids had fun at their homecoming dances, Noah looked so nice all dressed up, not a little boy anymore!!  I was up late Friday and Saturday nights, last night I fell asleep on the sofa for a few minutes, got up and cleaned the kitchen from supper, went to bed my 10:30, slept until 6 this morning,  sure felt good!

Not much else going on, have to get going, need to leave for Noah's game by 4 30, I have tons to do before that.

Sherry, the name of that movie i was talking about is A Home Of our Own with Kathy Bates. That is my favorite movie and i watch it everytime i see that it is on.

Here is Kim post for today.

    Good Morning All!!

Super tired this morning and have oh so much to do.  Joe's furry guests woke me up at 4:30 with their barking.  Our landlords have moved back to the area and needed someplace for their dogs to stay till their home is available on the 1st.  So what does Joe say? He says, sure no problem.  Miss is doing so so, but Rylee HATES the intrusion into her world.  Part of that is the shepherd in her and the other part is not being socialized.  She does not care for other dogs, aside from Little Miss, and bringing 3 into her world is not going well.  Then last evening while I was at church group, the two little ones escaped.  Joe said they ran around to the front via the alley.  So now I will have to stop what I am doing and go out and keep a watch on the darn extra dogs.  If Joe wasn't taking two very difficult classes AND if he hadn't used his one freebie no show day for the other, I would be telling him except for work, his life is centered around these dogs for the next week.  Although, when the two little ones got out, Joe called the landlord and she said she would look into a kennel for them if we could just keep the big one.  I do not care for the big one.  She is lovable, but I am not a  fan of pit bulls or pit bull mixes.  Rylee really hates her the most.  I wish Rylee liked her as they are about the same age and size, so play would probably be fun for both.

Anyway, as soon as both kids are out the door, Joe and I will bust out moving the rest of the furniture from the two rooms that are going to get carpet today.  Once the carpet is in, it will all have to go back.  Then tomorrow, I hope to get some of the light color on the living room walls.  The landlords love the color choices I made, particularly in the tv room.  In addition to furniture moving, I need to do laundry. It will be a busy, full day.

Supper tonight will be something with chicken.

Guess i will wrap this up.  Have a wonderful day my wonderful friends.  Hugs and Prayers for each and every one of you.
