Here is a pic of the cake I did for my gf yesterday.....I was happy with all except, I could not get the icing to smooth out on top and it really shows up in the picture - it looks cracked, but it wasn't.
Oh Lisa the cake is very pretty! No, it doesn't look bad at all. I'd be tickled to get a pretty cake like that! You do excellent work gf!
Cherie - thanks for the pic of that cutie-patootie grandson! awwwwww... he's sweet!
Lisa love the cake
Patti, I read an article that said you could eat peanut butter (esp name brand ones) but not products made with peanut butter, something about the paste they make is what is used for these products like cookies, crackers etc and that this was made by another company other than those making peanut butter.

Good Morning June Friends!!
I had my post almost finished and it disappeared. No big deal as I forgot to open the second window and couldn't remember who I wanted to respond to. Joe slept okay last night. He woke up early and took his meds. I fixed him his coffee and he went back to sleep -- just like my man!! Dylan slept in my room last night. I usually let him "sleep over" when Caitlyn spends the night at a friends house. Since Friday night required me staying up so late and getting up at 3:30 to give Joe his meds, Dylan didn't get to sleep with me. Anyway, he started laughing in his sleep at around 3:00. It was so funny to wake up to him laughing. Then he started talking. I couldn't understand a word of it. Today I must clean my kitchen. Supper tonight will be the pork chops I planned for last night.
Patti, what a busy June you were yesterday. I think it's a good thing you have nothing planned for today. After all your accomplishments yesterday you deserve a break. My kids don't like it when I make homemade mac and cheese. They never have. I guess my mistake was giving them Kraft for too long.
{{{Margie}}}, get better soon!! We love you and want our Mama June right here chatting with us. Get lots of rest today. Here's a cup of chicken soup for you from my home to yours.
Tracy, good luck finding the shoes your son needs. It would be so nice if the school told you where you can find the needed shoes. Or is it just that he needs a certain type of soles -- like no black soles? My kids can wear any shoes in their gym as long as the bottoms aren't black.
Jill, hope your girls are feeling better soon. Enjoy your cauliflower ham casserole. It sounds real good to me.
Denise, glad you got to see where Ed works and that you had a good day together. The laundry's waited this long to be folded. Why not read and then finish up the laundry?
Deb, have a good day and stay warm.
Cherie, enjoy the birthday celebration. The food made me hungry too.
Darlene, good luck with the shots and finding good homes. The pups are very cute. Beef stew sure sounds yummy.
Lisa, brrrrr. Hope you have a great day. Stay in and stay warm. Your cake looks fine. To me the lines in the top give it a homemade quality and not a grocery store feel. Even with the lines, it looks professional. You are quite good.
Guess I better run. I want to make Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls for the kids. Haven't had them in a while. They were on sale and I had a coupon which made them $1 rather than the almost $2 regular price. Have a great day.

Thanks for the compliments ladies, you're all so sweet!
Patti, scary about the PB isn't it; hate when these things happen, cause you just never know...
Sherry, glad you had a lazy evening, not like it happens often! Funny, funny dream - I never remember any of mine. Enjoy your 2 days off!!
Kim, glad Joe is doing good. Cute about Dylan's dream; Danielle does that often - her room is across the hall, so I can hear her. Love those orange rolls!
See you all later!
Hello and Happy Sunday to all of the Junes! Got off work around 10 this morning and made a quick trip to the grocery store before coming home, now nothing planned but to be lazy. I am off work the next 2 days, yea! DD has no school tomorrow, so she's staying at DM's house tonight, double yea! LOL! DH made chicken and rice last night, so we're having left-overs tonight, I made a pound cake with cream cheese frosting earlier in the week, so we need to finish that up for dessert.
Margie, sorry you're so sick, take care of yourself and get well soon!
Patti, hope you're keeping warm, thanks for the peanut butter tip!
Tracie, happy shoe hunting, lol!
Jill, hope you've had a good day!
Denise, enjoy your book!
Deb, have a good time a mom's today!
Cherie, drive safe and happy birthday to DS! Jayden is gorgeous!
Darlene, good luck selling the puppies!
Sherry, I am a diehard Dallas fan, but we're out now (awful last game) so I'm pulling for the Steelers now b/c of a friend at work. LOL at your dream! Hope you enjoy the game!
Lisa, you did a great job on the cake, you're very talented!
Kim, glad DH is doing okay, orange sweet rolls sound good!
Laura, scary about the instructor, my DD takes it this summer, so I guess I need to make sure I'm very aware of HER instructor, I don't blame you, I would file a complaint too! I would think that he would want to teach the teens that driving with a cell phone is not good!
Sheila, hope you've had a good day!
I guess I need to stir around and get that load of laundry folded that I did yesterday before I park myself with a book somewhere! Hope everyone has a good night!

The post office posted a notice the other day saying that among others it was Keebler crackers, Austin crackers, also heard Famous AMos Peanut butter cookies.

Good Night June Friends!!
Another day done and chores left undone. I can't believe the Cards pulled it off. YIPPEE!!! It's about time AZ has a pro team go past the regular season or first round of playoffs. Makes me proud to be a Zonie.
Anywho, guess I'll go. I need to find my water cup.
