    Good morning Margie

Sorry that you have such a headache this morning, take something a go back to bed!!!

I think that your menu for the wedding is fine like it is, I would not add anything else. You have lots of food. What kind of beverage are you serving?

John and I went to the jewelers yesterday to check on my ring that we are having made. I got my Mom's solitaire diamond and I am having a ring made using  the diamonds from my engagement ring and her diamond to make a new ring. I did not realize that there are so many steps in doing this. But we will get a look next week as to what it will look like , as a wax replica of the ring is being made. This way I can see what it will look like  and make any changes if necessary. After that we went to Lowe's and I got some bird seed, potting soil and a really big beautiful fern.

We were invited to a friends house last night for dinner so there was no cooking for me.

As of right now I have no clue what dinner will be tonight.

Waving to all have a wonderful(chilly) day,

    Good Morning june friends....

Cold out this morning but sunny and warming up into the 60*s today.

I got laundry started and a few things done .... Also going to finish my cleaning this morning for the week. Then it's my usual Thursday running.

Yesterday I got a surprise phone call from a good friend. ( We use to run around together in school) We lost touch with one another several years ago. Awhile back in Walmart one day I was talking to one of her sisters... And gave her my home phone and cell # for my friend.  Yesterday she called and we had a nice time catching up. It made my day. Sooo happy we are back in touch again.

Hope everyone has a great day~~ Deb

Good morning friends............frosty 30º here, but to be sunny with temps around 60 later. Should be much more enjoyable at the ballfield tonight; double header scheduled tho, which is a huge peeve of mine for a school night.

Will go right to work after I take Danielle to school and hoping I get off early afternoon; did a few things last night, but need to catch up my chores here. Going to put a roast in the crockpot for sandwiches tonight, but need to come up with something at least semi-healthy to serve with them.

Margie, how nice you were able to catch up with your old friend! The reception menu sounds great, I wouldn't add anything!

Jan, I'm sure your ring will be beautiful; my mom had her engagement ring made into a necklace after she & my dad were divorced.

Patti, waving hi.......maybe enjoy a "me" day?? ;)

Deb, guess it was "old friend day", lol! Hope you're able to stay in touch :)

Gotta run...........take care everyone and have a good day! hugs,

    Morning ladies,

Margie sorry about your headach,Hope you can get rid of it.

I had an interesting day off,not the kind I would like.

Found out my db was having his colonoscopy,so I went down there for moral support. Ladies the report sent us all into a stailspin. Not what we were expecting at all and I really could use all the prayer you have for him.

He has 70-80 polyps that was found, plus a mass 10cm in the rectal area.He has an appointment today with a surgeon. The doctor who done the colonoscopy says that what will be done is that all the large intestine except for the small part that is still good will have to be removed and that part will be reattached to the small intestine. I spent the nite at their house last night at sil request. She brought me back this morning.

    Ladies please pray  for him.

Good morning all.  Sunny and a bit warmer today and no frost last night but still windy.  Makes it hard to work outside when it's so windy.  Walking later this am and will meet Ed for lunch.  Have bible study tonight.  Ed got the top frame board of the head board covered, now for the two side frame pieces and then put them on the plywood.  Stapling makes his hand cramp so we could only do the one piece last night.   These side pieces are smaller so maybe we'll get both done one night maybe not.

Supper is leftover blackened chicken.   It was a hit.  Easy too and I broiled the chicken but in the summer could easily grill it.  Will make a separate post with the recipe.

Not a whole lot else.  Hope you all have a great day.

    Good Morning Ladies,

I can't believe it's Thursday already. Boy, this week is going by so fast! A cooler day today, we've had a mix of sun and clouds so far this morning. Today, it's our normal daily routine. I'll wash a load of white laundry, and give my sister a call. I'll clean bathrooms too. Supper for tonight will be piergoies and a salad. Last night, we watched our latest Netflix movie, the newest version of Footloose. What a good movie it was, we really enjoyed it.

Margie, and Deb, How funny you both heard from an old friend yesterday. its always nice hearing from someone you haven't talked to in a long time, and catch up.

Thats all for now. Hope everyone as a great day!

    HUGS!

In answer has he ever had a colooscopy before,no he never has.If he hadn't started passing the blood he never would have. Before the test he kept saying he never was going to do this again. It just hit him this morning that he will have to keep having it done every year. He hated the stuff he had to drink. Wish he had had one earlier could maybe have got this before it got so bad.

    Good Morning June Friends!!

Margie, your wedding menu sounds good.  When I got married the first time, we went super cheap and had a very traditional reception with cake, nuts, mints, punch and coffee.  After the actual reception, the family members and wedding party had a dinner.  My parents had chicken, cole slaw and rolls from KFC and then my mom made sweet and sour meatballs, baked beans, corn, and a tossed salad.   We had our ceremony late enough people could have eaten before they came and were done early enough for people to go home and have dinner.  With 200 people, there is no way my folks would have been able to afford to feed them all.

Myrtle, prayers for your brother, his wife and the rest of your family.  That news would have shocked anybody.

Slept okay last night.  Woke up for whatever reason at 4 something, but was thankfully able to get back to sleep till about 515.

Rylee had her final set of puppy shots yesterday.  She is alread 26 pounds.  At her first vet appointment the end of February, she was only 10 pounds.  The vet was amazed at how big she has gotten.  I got her scheduled for her spay in June.  Hopefully that will mellow her out a little bit.

Today I have two loads of laundry to fold and a dishwasher to unload.  We won't talk about how gross my floors are, but I will try to get some of them done.  My back has been acting up lately and the floors just really aggravate it.

No cooking for me today.  My niece offered to cook for us.  She is making baked spaghetti.  SIL said she'd grab some garlic bread and salad to go with.

Guess I will wrap this up.  I can't stop yawning and the coffe is done brewing.  Have a wonderful day my wonderful friends.  Hugs and Prayers for each and evey one of youl

Good morning Junies, I got on early today, have my house all tidied up, doing a load of rugs, going to go to Agway's in a minute to get a new finch bird feeder that takes niger seeds, as the squirrels are wrecking my other feeders, and just shoveling all the small seeds on the ground. I am buying the the feeder with the really tiny holes in it for the finches and sparrows, and other small birds and just spreading a little finch seed on the ground for my cardinals and mourning doves, there will be no corn or sunflower seeds in it to attract the squirrels.

Waving good morning to Margie, you said you were taking a menopause pill the other day, maybe your headache is from your menopause, that causes it sometimes along with the sweats and hot and cold chills, I'm still going through that, my neck will still get blochy and sweaty especially if it is a hot day, I hate that.

Waving to all the other Junies, hope you haven't lost two many buds or blueberry flowers on your bushes, Jill, my Magnolia is about ready to bloom and it is very chilly here this morning, I am keeping an eye on that and my Crabapple and Weeping Cherry tree too. Dangerous time of year for the gardeners.

Have a great day girls, hope your day is not too stressful, but a happy one, leftovers tonight, Yippee, no cooking for me.

    Belle
