RE: Tea Quote, Oct. 27
Dear Margaret, There is a peace that transends and filters through the Japanese tea masters which allows a window into the benefits of the tea ritual. It accentuates the beauty of marking time in a way that nothing else can accomplish. One prepares for tea, enters tea, participates in tea, exits tea and carries tea into all else. It is very much like walking a path through the woods. You may start carrying heavy burdens but as the mind clears you gain more than you dreamed possible. You wash your hands of the world and be present, repeat each step, appreciate the process and leave with the gift of peace. That is Tea. Extraordinary. Thank you. Your friend, Mary
