    It sounds as though Micki is being spoiled by hotel stays and maid service.  But, I have a feeling she won't be complaining about the Arkansas highways anymore.  LOL

     

    Today's entry:

     

    well, we made it through the bus ride.  it was also quite windy but the roads weren't as narrow as previous roads have been.  We stopped 3 different times for potty breaks.  We should have arrived to our hotel at about 8 PM, but on the road here we came up on an accident.  Semi vs. gas truck and they scraped in a curve.  They eventually got apart and everyone kept going.  So we arrived at the hotel around 9:30.
     
    Also, for those of your keeping up, there was a hotel change.  We are at the Hancienda La Noria in Oaxaca.  We found out this info on the road here.  No one is exactly sure what happened.  That's okay, though.  there is a k...i...t...t...y at this hotel and it manages the restaurant.  We've become fast friends.  However, I am seriously missing Boca kitty.  I'm sure by now she is extremely mad at me.  At least she has Brian!
     
    The afternoon is free.  We are touring Oaxaca and Mitla today.  Tomorrow, we will go to Monte Alban and get a free afternoon.  Then I think Monday is when we fly out to MexCity.
     
    Okay, gotta go back to the room before we head out for the  morning.  Have a good day everyone!

    just stopping by  to say hi. been outside all day and going back out. have to keep my foot up today so I am doing just that, had to come in to get something to eat

    Good Morning, Sisters!

    I am happy to report that I have done absolutely nothing this morning! What a lazy summer morning. It is all going to change shortly~need to fertilize my flowers and do some laundry but there is nothing planned! lol

    Hi Ruth! Good to see you. Have you escaped some of the rains and various weather? My prayers are still with Iowa and all of those affected by these strange weather patterns. We have had a few storms and strange beginning to summer but we have been lucky.

     Walking in the room tossing flower petals and chocolate to everyone.......what can I say it just popped into my mind. LOL

     

    Morning

     

    I think today I am on the hunt for a double hanging planter, every since I saw Lindas its been on my mind..........so today I am taking action and going to seek and hopefully find one if not I will try another day. I have some Begonias that need to be planted in it.Surprise Home Depot has all their plants clearenced, not that I need any but I have to go check it out, just in case.

     

    Yesterday went very well Mom tuckered me out and I didnt get everything done so that will keep until next weekend. The peaches werent in, so we hit the store and bought a few I am wanting to try grilling them in a few days, then putting them in a foil packet with a lil brown sugar and butter and letting them steam while I finish up the meat. Oh shoot I am getting hungry now. Squash is a blooming in my garden nd a few green tomatos. I put in a yellow pear shaped tomato thats doing well I cant wait to try them.

     

    I need to run and get things done so I can watch my Euro 2008 Soccer match this afternoon.
