What that means, is this:
We will swap any gifts that we have received, whether it be for birthday, Christmas, prior swaps, or any other occasion, that we cannot use or simply are not to our liking, BUT ARE STILL NICE GIFTS, NOT JUNK.
This will be a round-robin type swap. I will start the swap by placing 10 items inside a box and then mail it to the next person on my list. When that person receives it they will post on a thread I create on the BB stating that it was received and list ONLY the items they choose to keep. They will then email me and I will provide them the next address to ship to in a private email. Then they will replace the same amount of items they selected from the box with gifts they are regifting and mail it to the person whose address I provided them within 2-3 days of receiving the box, and so forth and so on. YOU MUST ALSO SEND ME AN EMAIL AND PROVIDE ME THE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION NUMBER YOU RECEIVE WHEN YOU MAIL THE BOX TO THE NEXT PERSON!
Now I know that we had round robin swaps in the past and the major complaint was that people would take out the good stuff and replace it with junk and by the time it reached you, there was nothing you'd want to keep, but hopefully this won't be the case here.
In reality, since this is a regifting swap, it won't cost you to buy your items to fill the box as they are things you should already have. The only cost to you should be the price of shipping and I do require that you be sure that your items will fit in the LARGE FLAT RATE PRIORITY USPS SHIPPING BOX, which costs $12.95 to ship + the cost of delivery confirmation. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION IS A MUST or there will be no way to track the box. If you are not willing to pay for and utilize Delivery Confirmation, then I ask that you refrain from joining this swap. I can't really put a price limit on the gifts since we are regifting, BUT I do ask this, please don't shop at the dollar store for items to replace what you select. I would ask that you each use your judgment and replace the items you select with items of similar value. Don't get me wrong, the dollar store does sell nice items, but in trying to keep it consistent for all swappers, I ask that you refrain from dollar store items, or, if you do have something nice from the dollar store, such as a SET of 4 placemats and a matching bowl, tie them together in one bundle to represent one item in the box. I know that we will have no way to know the cost of each item we select, but use your best judgment please and keep it fair for all. THANK YOU!
Sandra (Catrinka) made a suggestion that we might also include coupons in the box. I will start with some coupons I have and am not using, please feel free to take as many as you want and if you have any you are not using, include them before you ship. I think this is a great idea! Thanks Sandra!

I am also thinking (something I seldom do ). I have some nice things I could swap, I just hate to part with things that have been given to me as gifts even though there are some that I will probably never use. When is the last day to decide ?
