    Reuse Classico Sauce jars

    During the Taste of Home cooking show a couple of the recipes featured Classico sauces. Classico sauces can be found in the spaghitti sauce area. I always thought the jars were cool looking because they have measurement marks on the side and say Mason on the front like a real canning jar.  I always thought it was just to make the sauce seem more homemade looking to help sell it. 

     Well as it turns out all the Classico jars are reusable Mason canning jars.  Evidently you only have to get some home canning jar lids and you can actually use them for home canning.  I love it!

    I have never been able to find lids that fit these jars. They're a bit smaller than the smallest lids I can find! Maybe I'll have to relook!! Don't you just LOVE those cooking schools? So much helpful info. and tips! I'd love to attend another. Hopefully before the year is out!! :o)
