An early morning THANK YOU to Nancy (crossingguard) for the sweetest card. Nancy knows how awful it was during our storms and I always knew her thoughts were with us during that time last week. Thank you, Nancy! I LOVE getting cards. You are so sweet to think of me! Hugs,
Paula

Kay, Thank you so much for the beautiful E-Card. I love Jaquie Larson cards.
thanks Mary Ann but I must say that this is a neighborgood effort and it is rewarding to all that put something into it. I miss hearing from some of our neighbors and hope that they'll be out visiting soon. I always have an extra glass of iced tea sitting on the table on my porch so please stop by.
So looking forward to meeting Karen...MY neighbor, on Thursday. We'll be having lunch at Bahama Breeze on Thursday and will post a photo on COF. Only wish that Andrea and Paula were coming. But, don't worry, we'll know that you will be here in spirit. Marian and Charney will be there too. And Lynn, your tech geek will be there too. LOL
Looking forward to the new NY Med on ABC tonight. Of course, I'll have to tape it as I have been going to bed by that time. lol
Speaking of a medical program...happy to hear that Pat E is coming along. It's been a LONG road for you!
Ed is at the movies with the grandsons today. I don't know who enjoys it more, him or them. Since popcorn is so expensive their mom doesn't like to spend the money so I am anxious to hear about the look on their faces because Poppa got permission to buy it for everyone today.
PT this afternoon. That is always scheduled so that it won't interfere with the movie date. It's not that Ed does get much excitement at my PT. LOL He wears his headset and reads his kindle while I cringe at the muscle stretching exercises. He used to hold my water bottle for me but never heard me asking for it during the wookout. So, I now do that myself. His caregiving takes place more at home...ice packs, coaching home exercises, prepares dinner and even has been doing laundry. I doubt I am in any hurry to get it over with when I get that kind of support. LOL

of you to treat all of us. (and quite unexpected) Enjoy the rest of your vacation you will be needing
a vacation from your vacation. Hope you have a safe trip home.

Thank You - Thank You Thank You - To Karen, Nancy and Charney - and we can not leave out Ed and Rich.
We all had a wonderful lunch at Bahama Breeze (A Big Extra Thanks to Karen for her treat). It was so nice to all get together. I am sure Karen's Cabana Boy was glad when we left after over 2 hours so he could reset the table for the next group.
I really wish you could have been here longer because Rich and I were ready to take you shopping and show you a couple more restaurants. We had the day planned with his folks for tomorrow so could not do then. AND then you were leaving on Sat. Could we have a rain check on that???!!!!!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay here - and I know you will because you are such a positive person and will have fun where ever you go.
Thanks for letting me and Rich join you all.

Kay - I want to thank you for the quilting kit! I am trying to decide whether to piece it by hand or on the machine. I think my tension is off a bit and I always have a hard time fixing it! Andrea
PS - Roberta - I hope your days get better.
My Girl
A couple of thank you's. First to Karen!! Sharing her time with the Florida "neighbors" with visiting and lunch was so special! We lucked out and had Kip as our Cabana Boy. So much fun. No one had a loss for words. We now know so much more about each other and still like each other. lol I'm sure we'll be planning something again.
Kay, thank you for the work that was done in planning and packaging the quilting project! A lot of detail. I can't imagine the time involved. I'm sure we'll all be posting photos of our completed project. Thanks a bunch Kay!
Kay...
I wanted to thank you for the quilting kit...it arrived today and you sure put so much work into it...thank you!!!
I look forward to starting it soon.
Hugs,
Corinne
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away!
First I want to thank Mary for the lovely card along with the Walmart Gift Card for my Birthday. You know that I will not have a hard time spending that. They always have so much that I Just Have to have. Thanks Loads for thinking about me.
Now I want to also thank Kay --- I recived the Quilting Kit and I can't wait to get started. You picked up great colors for me. I can not believe all the HARD work and TIME that you put into putting this Kit together. WOW where did you find the time. I plan to start on it this next week - by hand because I no longer have a sewing machine. So needless to say I may not get mine done as fast as the others - but it will get done. Thanks again you are too much
Thank you Kay!!! I got my quilting kit in the mail and am soooo excited to complete the project. I haven't decided whether by hand or machine--I love handwork, especially for smaller projects, so I just might sit down with this in my lap! I have to say that every last one of these projects (kits) has been so thoughtfully put together and the generosity of you ladies is amazing! What a great bunch of neighbors!
Kay, I got the quilting kit today. I've been looking it over and I do have the thread for it. Maybe I can do better with these pot holders then I have with the sample quilt that the instructor has been showing us. I go to a quilting class once a week and we've been doing a sample quilt. Two of the blocks has been a log cabin and a mile a min block, which I'm having trouble with.
Thank you for the kit and the planning of it. I love the colors, so cheerful.
