    Nancy!  Thank you so much!!!  You know, it is almost like we know each other face to face.  I LOVE the Grandma book -- quotes, poems, and even some very cool recipes.  And I had to laugh out loud when I saw "Brain Teasers for Dummies".  I think I can use it for sure--my poor old brain cells must have retired when I did.  Missing emails, lost cell phone, etc.  hhahahahahah!  Thank you my friend.  I love little puzzles to work--and this is one I can stick in my purse and, assuming I can find it in that black hole, pull out and work a puzzle when I have a few minutes.  It is such a sweet thing to be remembered by you.  Yes, we are true friends!

    Well, guess I have another case of the disappearing post! Just wanted to thank Mary Ann for the recipe cards and cookbook she sent. I'm enjoying looking through the recipes and I have made a recipe box for DIL and try to keep it updated so the cards will come in handy. Thanks! Amy Marie

    Wow! Big THANK YOU to Lynn!

    How sweet and so very generous of you to find that Circle of Friends Cookie Cookbook and make copies for all of the COF and mail them out! But then again, I know from experience just how sweet you are! lol Anyway.......thanks Sweetie!!! I've got a couple recipes tagged to try as soon as the weather cools off!! Chuck was looking for some cookies the other day only to find the cookie jar is empty!! I just can't even think about baking when it's as hot and humid as it's been the past 6-8 weeks!:o)

    Wanted to thank my wonderful partner Rene for thinking of me while on her trip!!  :)

    Rene, I got your package this past weekend--I LOVE the towel!  Thank you so much for sending it!  It goes perfectly with the blues and yellows in my kitchen.  And thank you for writing out the story behind the salmon, that was so neat!  I love Native American stories...I can only imagine what awesome things you are learning while you are on your trip!

    Thank you also for the chocolate bar--how did you know I've been craving chocolate lately?  YUMMMY!!!

    Thank you so much for the Circle of Friends Gooseberry Patch Chocolate Chip Cookies Cookbook!!  WOW!  I love chocolate chip cookies...what a neat book!  And I love the name! :)  They must have heard about our special group. :)

    Marian, Ron said to tell you "Thank You" for the cute card and for thinking of him while he recouped from his cataract surgery...The card is darling. It has a  cute puppy on the front with gauze wrapped around his foot and a bandaid on his nose...Marian, made the card and we both enjoyed it so much....Thank you, Marian!!

    The month of July is moving on, so before that happens, let me thank Lynn for her very generous spirtit in spending time thinking of her COF neighbors and copying our very own copy of the Circle of Friends Cookbook...Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes.  OMG, Lynn...I love it like I love Chocolate!  You're so thoughtful.

    To The Chez Amis Girls: Karen, Nancy, Andrea, and Paula. I received the prize package yesterday (Tuesday) for the recipe. Thank all so much for doing this.

    Thank you Karen for the  New Orleans stuff--- A pack of Beignet Mix, (never had this before), a pack of French Market coffee---love my coffee,  a jar of Joe's Stuff seasoning mix with a Joe's Stuff dip recipe, will be trying this soon, also a pack of Floral Beads for keeping flowers fresh longer. She included a phamplet on The New Orleans School of Cooking.

    I hope your chocolate was okay! I realized after mailing that I was sending a package from a cool place to the heat of the country. I hope it survived the trip okay!
