I was late getting home again today. Late leaving work and there was a bad storm too.
Had a stack of mail. A few bills then I see 3 envelopes for me!

Thank You so much to Eloise for the wonderful Note Card and the Family Living Cookbook called Hooray for Desserts. I really try not to make too many desserts but after reading this cookbook I just KNOW I will be falling off the wagon.
I really like that flag note card and may try and frame it. It is beautiful.
I know it is getting close to the time when your daughters will be getting the 2 foster girls. I am sure that the exciting is really growing.
And so happy on coming baby for the other daughter.

Thank You Kay for the beautiful birthday card and e-card, the butterflies are so pretty. DH is doing the cooking today. He had some ribs, corn-on-the-cob and potatoes to put on the grill later today. No cake for me! LOL.

Nancy, thank you so much for the mini garden flag. I love it! The quote is very special "Friends are the Garden of Life". This flag will go into a big pot of impatiens flowers that I have been growing all summer long. They have flourished as has our friendship and that of our whole Chez Amis neighborhood! Thanks for such a wonderful package! It arrived yesterday and I am embarassed to say I dug into the nuts without giving a proper thanks first! I love the new lunch tote - the colors are perfect and so is the design. Inside was lots of goodies from Virginia - pitascchios, spoonbread mix, a fried green tomato mix - I can't wait to try these! I love fried green tomatoes. Also, a book called Shanghai Girls - looks like a great read! And Sweetpea says thank you for her Boingo Ball! Thanks again - this summer has been full of wonderful memories and I'm glad we could share our friendship - which will continue on! I completely expect that we will get to meet one day!

The butterflies just keep coming!! This time in the form of a lovely card from Nancy that has some butterfly Tattoos enclosed!! Not just any old tattoos either. These are 'Glow in the Dark' tattos, though I've yet to put that to the test!! Stay tuned!

Eloise, Just want to thank you for the 2 pair of pink and blue socks/anklets and the birthday card. I really needed them . My socks tend to wear out in the heal. I only have a couple of new ones right now, so these will get a lot of use!
