MARIAN thank you for mailing out the cady boquet supplies. I will make this as soon, and probably replinish it before the 4th of July because you know it won't last long as a center piece..... next time I"m going to find a candy that only I like......... no I"m just kidding. I also saw one of the You Tube videos on making candy boquets and one of them suggest using a pool noodle and cut them to use to hold the picks.
You know the club house idea really is a neat one that teaches new things........ and I am very greatful to be apart of this first round.

I got a gift card from Dunkin Donuts.
So my plan is frozen hot chocolate once a week.
On Saturday morning after I weigh in at Weigt Watchers.
I love their frozen hot chocolate but very seldom treat
myself. So Saturday morning am going after the meeting is over

My dear neighbor Nancy--Thank you so much for the retirement card! I have to tell you I never realized how much fun it would be to actually not need to do anything each morning when I get up, but to take my time and do things that are really important-- like play with grand kds and read books! I really appreciate your thoughts and well-wishes!

Thanks Marian, for the awesome project idea, for gathering all the goodies and for sending them all out! I'm anxious to see some pix. Hope everyone takes a pix. and shares it! Since my camera is on the fritz, I'll have to try and bribe Chuck to take a pix. for me when I get it done! Seems a lot of my things have gone missing or are ending up not working lately! What's up with that? First my sewing machine. Now my camera! What next? Strike that last question! I don't really wanna know the answer to that one! lol
Thanks to ALL of you who've volunteered to host a project in the COF and for your generous gift of furnishing the goodies and postage to mail it all out!! Which reminds me. July is fast approaching so I'd best get my hiney in gear with the quilting project! In case you're interested, we're gonna be making 2 potholders!!!

I hope by now all the Lady Bugs have received my long letter about me. So many have asked why I moved from Minnesota to California.
All of you have followed Karen and Andrea on their travels to New Orleans and what fun we all had! But, now Karen has given me an added treat...She not only stopped at my favorite needlepoint/cross-stitch shop in the Crescent City but she bought and sent me a sampler!!! You are the BEST! I certainly am in the best position, physically, to spend time putting that little needle in and out and develop a piece of art that will not only remember my past memories there but now can remember your visit there too! I am so happy that you girls decided to stop by the shop, in between drinks, (LOL) and got a feeling of what adds to the artist value of NO.
But, my thank you doesn't end there...I absolutely love tote bags and so what else did Karen include in my package??? The cutest and most unusual tote bag! Never had I seen one with a baggage tag on it! It is certainly on the top of my list of being a favorite!!!
Now if the sampler and tote bag wasn't enough but I received yet another FUNNY card. I can only imagine you and Andrea standing in a shop reading and laughing at the cards until the shop keeper asked if you would please make a decision. LOL Let me share this one...it has a drawing of a lady holding a bathing suit on the front with the inscription...First thing each morning, I try on my bathing suit. Inside...Then, nothing worse can happen the rest of the day. Karen, you have now made a whole neighborhood laugh out loud too!
