Thanks going out to my sweet neighbor Andrea!   Today in the mail I received a package from her.  Inside was a book for me A Dog's Life!  She knows that I love books about dogs and we are reading The Art of Racing in the Rain (about a dog) and so this one is her favorite book about a dog!  I can't wait to start it.  I am about half way done with Racing in the Rain, so this weekend I will be reading my new book.  Thank you, Andrea!  You know me well and I love it!   Do you think we can maybe be neighbors again in our new neighborhoods?

Nancy - thank you so much for my surprise! When I first saw the package I thought - something for Rob - I will need to mail it to Washington. Then I looked and it was for ME!!!!!

Thanks for the cocktail napkins, dip mixes and handmade card. The dip mixes are in such pretty boxes - gosh almost don't wait to use them! One is for Hot and Cheesy Basil Balsamic Dip and the other is Polynesian Sweet and Sour Dip - I can't wait to try these out!

And thanks for your note - I will try to remember that 'Normal' is just a dryer setting - that's great!

Charney...

  What a surprise I found on my front steps when I got home Friday night!!!  A Bon Voyage bag!!!  I received a pink and blue bag with pink and blue flamingos on it and their feathers are blue sequins...it is just the perfect size!!!

  Inside the bag was the most beautiful black, sequined wrap/scarf...it will be perfect to take on the cruise...I love it!

I also received a pink, Palm Island sun hat with flamingos on it...perfect for the sun, and I didn't have a hat to take with me.  I love the blue vacation photo album with the pink sun glasses on it.  The mesh laundry bag will come in very handy!!!  I love the luggage tag that says"This Is Not Your Bag"!!!

I received some cocktail mixes too!!!  One is a Pomegranate Margarita Slush mix and the other is a Chocolatini freezable cocktail mix...they both sound yummy...especially the chocolate one!!!  I am also looking forward to trying the V'Nilla Noir French Vanilla wine!!!  Thank you also for the Grab and Go Onion Blossom Horseradish Dip with pretzels...it sounds so good!!!

Jim worked a double tonight and I wish I had a camera to capture the look on his face when he walked in the door and I was wearing jeans, a green shirt, white socks, my beautiful sequined scarf along with my new pink flamingo hat...it was priceless!!!  "He said where are you going dressed like that" and I said I am all ready for the cruise...LOL

Thank you so much Charney for such a wonderful vacation package!!!  I just love everything!!!  I loved the card too!!!  I can't wait to go to Florida...28 more days!!!

Many thanks to Nancy for a wonderful surprise that arrived this week! She sent me a magazine, napkins, spice mix, and the best part of all... a book of quotes about friends. I feel so blessed to be paired with Nancy for my first round, as I have found a true-blue friend! Nancy... I'm not sure when this arrived... DH brought it out of his study last night, apologizing that he didn't give it to me right away (he has a habit of putting mail on his desk and if I don't check regularly, I might not get it until next week!).

It appears that the mailman had a full truck load of packages for the COF!  He stopped by my house too with a much needed package containing an especially needed VOO DOO DOLL.  I know the rest of you are going to be jealous! 

Karen,  Loved the fyi note pad...perfect for my purse because I always seem to think about something when I'm out and don't have anything in which to write it down.  so cute!  Ed will always know my expectations now.  LOL  As for the colorful note cards...you know me, color is good!!  So cheery that I think I'll share with the impatient Nancy.  LOL  I cannot tell you how much I love the aromic hand gel!  I go into Bath and Body Works and try a different one on a different part of my arms.  LOL  And the floral beads...never seen this before and it just looks like so much fun to watch them grow!  AND it feeds my flowers!!!  good deal!!  And lastly...my tote bag!  As I've told you, I love tote bags and this is so different as it is kept in the special and personalized pouch.  Nancy...Strong and Successful.  Well, I have survived the surgery AND PT!  I will keep the pouch close by at all times so it will remind me that I too will survive the realtor handling the sale of Ed's mom's place.  LOL

Everything is so perfect and I thank you for the thoughtfulness!

Mary~I received your package today. I just love the first aide kit and I needed one for my truck. It will fit nicely in the console.Also the little tongs will come in handy for getting things out of the bottom of the jars. (Not real sure what they are for but getting pickles & olives sound good to me)

Wishing good health to you & Ron. How is your mom? I haven't been on the BB or fb much since I returned home. Was a little hard getting back into the work routine -lol.

I finally am able to get on this website I want to thank everyone for all they did when my husband was sick and passed awy. All the prayers cards gifts were so greatly appreciated thanks also to the girls from grandmas place for all the little goodies they sent. I think the funniest were the little tongs Mary sent me that I got today they will be great for my olives. You are all such a terrific group of people I can never say thanks enough for helping me through this. It helped so much knowing all of you had me in your thoughts and prayers Eloise

Eloise, I was in this little hardware store and saw those little tongs and I thought they were the cutest thing...Strange, but cute...LOL I never saw any that small and thought they would be different to send...LOL All of the lady's from Grandma's Place are going to be blessed with the tongs...LOL I got the packages together and didn't get much of a letter written....Sorry... I will try to get one out to all of you this week....This is a busy emotional week for me....

Pat, I am glad you got your package too....I know the tongs are strange, but I thought they were cute for pickles and olives...yes, I bought myself some too....The first aid kit, I thought would be hand in the car or in a purse, when out and about....I am glad you enjoyed your vacation.....Will write more later....

Good Morning to all and a special Good Morning and Hugs go to the Grandma's place ladies.  Mary I received your package yesterday and a really enjoyed it.  A person can never have to many of the First Aid kits.  You know that mine will be gone before long.  Thanks loads. Also for the tongs. They are so good at getting all those small things from hard to reach places. The Spiced Mug Mat - in the shape of an apple is really "Kool" That Cinnimon scent really makes me think of fall and the cooler weather. Now how about the Avon Cool Confidence Roll-On Deodorant.  You must have been to the gym with me - This will find its' way into my gym bag. Thanks so much for all your thoughtfulness. You have so much going on and yet you take the time to think of us.  You are too special.
