Good Morning!I was up for the 3rd time this week at 4:00....this time with chest pains...I scared the bajeebies out of Ken....NO it is not my heart....thinking I popped a rib out again. I will call the Chiro this morning! Would you believe a Client NEVER showed up for a showing on Wednesday morning...funny thing is that appointment was for Tuesday but she asked to have it rescheduled for the next day!I sat in front of the home for 30 minutes. I emailed first thing in the morning confirming that we were meeting...never heard from her, but went anyway. I called her while I was sitting there...she never answered! I emailed her again that afternoon...nothing! I emailed her again yesterday telling her I would leave her cash (that she gave me for an application) in an envelope at my Office and to pick it up, and told her I would be out of town for a week....she emailed me back apologizing that her daughters school called and she had to leave immediately...really you couldn't even text me and let me know you were going to be a NO show!!The nice thing about being up so early is that I was able to start my laundry...and now it's almost sone....... then I can start packing! I also want to go get a pedicure and I am thinking I am going to get my acrylic nails back on....had them taken off back in October...I just can't grow them on my own!
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the nice weather!
I will be gone this Sunday through next Sunday....and possibly Monday. Susan & I may decide to drive from the Port of Galveston straight to the Lake and meet the guys there and spend the night. It will be our 28th Anniversary and their dog Cuervo's 1 year Anniversary of his death...they want to spread his ashes on the 27th!
I can't promise that I will be able to get back here today or tomorrow so I will say my good bye's now! Good Bye!!
.....it is WHAT it is.....
Hey, Pat! Well, you may not get here but if you do hope you guys have a great time at the Lake. Gee, what in the heck is wrong with people. You would think with all the ways a person can communicate these days that a message your client couldn't make would be easy. People are just so inconsiderate these days. I don't think she should get her money back!!! You are way too nice!
We played golf today. Boy, what a disaster. I'm starting out so awful this year. Hit good drives but all the rest is downhill from there. Around the greens I play like I've never held a club before. Guess I'll credit it to old age. It's darn embarrassing! At least I get good exercise.
Our neighbor caught a whopper of a salmon so guess what we're having for dinner. Nothing like a fresh piece of fish. It is so nice out Tom can put it on the bbq.
Hope Pip, Puff, Maryanne. Maryann, Tango and DORI are all ok. Dori, where are you......hope you can check in soon.
See you all tomorrow, God willing!
Is there a greater fault than being conscious of the other person's faults?
Another beauty of a day here. 86 at the present time, so just need to stay out of the direct sun! G had her play group / lap sit picnic today. Gorgeous day for it too. Kids had a Super time playing in the park and then good eats in the shelter after. With more park playing then to finish up. I will miss our group of moms & grandmas!! One grandma that babysits all day just lives a block from me, so we will be getting the kids together over the summer.
Went to a garage sale down the street from me and got G "Tickle me Elmo"! LOL! She loves it of course....
Pat that is just inconsiderate like Roma said of your client. A text would have been quick & easy for her to do. Sad how so many are today... Have a fun getaway!!
So good to hear your weather is superb Roma. Just a bad day on the golf course don'tcha think. Next time you'll probably beat the socks off of Tom! :) Enjoy your neighbors fresh catch!!
Not much else for now. Later Taters ~~~~
