    Good morning, Buds!

The sun is shinning so all is right in this neck of the woods.  Have stuff to do today but nothing too pressing. One of my long time friends here in town finally sold her home of over forty years and is in the process of moving. She lost her husband about five years ago and this all has been very hard on her.  She has lots of help and will have movers but going through all the stuff from the attics, closets, nooks and crannies has been hard.  She never really dealt with Bob's stuff after he passed away so she has mountains of gadgits. He was a ham operator so you can just imagine the amount of electrical doo dahs and just "STUFF".  Helping her is an adventure. Laura, she is moving to Ridgefield so I probably won't be able to see her as often as I do now but she will be near her son who lives in Vancouver so that's a good thing. It is hard to pull up your roots after so long. Makes me wonder why Tom and I built a two story house. As I get more croutchedy I'm wondering why we thought that was a good idea.

Saw a movie about a sushi chef. Boy, who would ever think sushi was so complicated.  Good movie and of course we went to a sushi bar afterwards and it was great. Now I know why it was so expensive.

Hope someone checks in.  The Room has been a little empty lately.

Hi all -  This has been the week from He!! for me~ Starting last Fri. with DS's surgery, and them my MRI and yesterday had the appointment with the neuro dept.  First met with a nurse practioniar, then she said she was going to have a surgeon come and talk to me.  I asked if the one that did DS's surgery was avaliable, and she said he was.  He came in and talked to me and said I needed 2 or 3 surgeries, but wasn't sure he could do them safely. He said you are headed to a wheel chair if you do nothing, and if I do the surgery and it doesn't work, you could be bedriden.  Today I had another pricedure of a different sort with my local Dr.  and that was a lot of fun too! !  She did talk to me about weight loss surgery and wondered if I was open to a consultion on that - - Maybe if I lost a bunch first, that the back surgery could be more sucessful.  Lots to think of, and none of it good.  The 2 lower disks are ruptured and bone on bone then in the mid back there is the severe stinious which DS had in the upper back/neck.  Had more Xrays before I came home yesterday and go back for another MRI on the 25th.   All I've done this week is run to the different appt. and I'm very weary tonight.  Lots of emotional stress.

Good to see you here, Jeannie - it's been a long time - Hope all is well with you.

WELL, PRAISE THE LORD!  Honestly, Jeanne, I .... and the rest of the Buds have really missed you!  I am just thrilled that you are here again!  You are an important blossom in our bouquet!  Diana has kept us in the know re your puter problems so I knew it wasn't your fault that you wern't here. I'm just so happy you are up and running again.

As to what's new...you are probably pretty much in the know if you check in with Facebook once in a while but I'll try to update as much as I can. Hope everyone has a sense of humor here. My Tom has a prostrate problem, boy, bet you're excited to hear that. Amy graduated from school and her dad is getting married. Dori hasn't been here much and we miss her so I don't know what's new w/her. Maizey broke her shoulder and has a lot of pain. Can you just imagine. What that poor gal has been through. Her dd made it to the finals of the Pilsbury Bake Off again. What an accomplishment!  Diana is potty training Gianna with success and G is taking swimming lessons. Lauras son graduated and she got her trach out!!! Tango is painting her family room, Maryann is still having awful problems with her eyes and she thought shots were done with but has to continue with them. I feel so bad for her! Jaz retired!!! We'll see more of her when school is out.  Pat's daugher Tiff is getting married and poor Jane is struggling with her knees and back ...she also has a new set of choppers!. Tom and I are praying that Joe continues his success w/the rehab he has been in for the last 6 months. He has 3 weeks to go then graduation. You know how we have every thing we can cross, crossed. It's been good so far but you know how many times we've been disappointed.

I think that gets you up to date. I hope I didn't leave anyone out and I gave accurate information. If not, please correct. I can take it if I goofed.

OK, I'm off!  I hope you pop back in soon so I know you got caught up!

    Love ya!

    Hi Rosies!

Jeanne, good to see you back.

Jane, you have had the week.  Take your time making the decision.  We're all pulling for you.

Have been gone all afternoon to Hayden's.  DIL had a glucose test to do, so I got to go have fun.  The weather is so nice, we ended up in the back.  I had my book and Hayden had several bubble makers.  All of their neighbors have strep so the back yard is as far as we dared go.  I'm sure I'll sleep good tonight as even the shortest time with him wears me out!

    Off to make supper.  Later!

Welcome home, Jeanne. Roma did a good job updating you. My shoulder is good now; and I'm in the garden as usual.

Jane, I cannot believe how awful it is for you and what you are dealing with. I hope you get a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd opinion with an orthopedic surgeon. Although I have to wonder what good my prayers are please know I am uping them to the highest notch for you.
