    Hi Buds!

I was gone all day yesterday. It was supposed to be Mahjongg day but two of the gals couldn't make it so it was just me and Lynn. We decided to go to a shopping mall that is a little out of the way but nice stores. I'm looking to pick up a few things for out pending trip. I love that Zyergy stuff that Chico sells so we went there and I was able to fine a couple of things that are great for traveling. I've really learned how to pack for these trips so it will be mostly all black and just a couple of things. Easy!

Pat, that's great that you have so many prospects! Gee, a neighbors house of Lynns in Portland put their house on the market and it sold the next day. It is in a desireable neighborhood tho but that's really good. And my friend here sold hers fast too. Maybe things are picking up. I hope Kimberly can find out was is giving her so much pain. Poor Ken....gout is not fun! Can he take anything for it?

How hot is it down there, Maryann? Are you stilll doing the secret shopper job?

I wish Dori woulod check in. It's been a long time, now. I don't have her email (another fatality when my puter crashed). If anyone does, I'll be happy to give her a holler. Diana, do have her address?

How is that paint job going, Tango?

The kids are all out of school now.  Corey is at a football camp and I guess having a ball. Sara is painting her room and I promosed to get her a new bedspread and maybe a lamp. Quite a project for a 13 year old.

How are you doing, Jane???? I've been thinking of you lately and having good thoughts for your back. How is your son doing?

Tom wants to play golf in a couple of hours so I'm heading to the shower. Have a great day!

    Hi everyone,

Nothing exciting going on here. Of course I am in the garden; but not as much as I should or would like. My back has been very troublesome; but I am reluctant to complain considering what Jane is going through.

Cook, we are waiting on some 0f that heat you are sending our way.......not looking forward to it. I really can't handle heat. My sister in Indiana is complaining about it. She is so worried they might declare a water ban and she would lose her garden.

Mary Beth is in Indonesia for 10 days on a business trip. I am sure it is sweltering there as well.

Pat, where are you going I'm afraid I missed that? Sorry about the gout I know it is extremely painful. There is medication for it; but I'm not sure how effective it is.

I went out to lunch the other day; and ended up with a bug. Not sure if it was the food or a virus that apparently is going around. A friend was supposed to meet us for lunch; but she was just recovering from it; and not ready to go out. Valerie also had it last week.

Sorry to hear you had a bug Miss Maizey and your back is bothering you! Do you still have some help with your gardens? Miserable hot day here today and looks to be more of the same tomorrow ~ It's on its way...

I did get the yard mowed, went out almost 5 pm... Still hot, but ~ I picked my first basil tonight and made a double batch of pesto for the freezer. I also picked some thyme and oregano and froze that. I was told you can just freeze it and pull out what you need. I'll be making spaghetti sauce on Thurs. and will use fresh basil, oregano and thyme...

    Sleep tight buds ~
