A little cloudy today but the sun will shine later. Tom is taking Joe and Dan to play golf. Neither of them have seen the new course and I know they will like it. Kind of a treat. I have am eye exam later this afternoon so I can't go but it's just as well. A guy day is a good thing.
Yesterday was ladies day w/Mahjongg and it's always fun. Took Joe to a meeting and he had the afternoon to take care of some stuff. So far so good. He has a good attitude.
Puff, were the pictures you posted of Pat's lake place? I was wondering if they went.
Amy, glad you had such a nice time. Haven't been to N.Carolina but sure enjoyed S.C. Beautiful. I would love to go back and spend more time in Atlanta. We sooooo loved Savanagh. Sorry you still have family issues. It's hard rolling w/the punches but it is probably better for your health to keep your blood pressure down. Some things just won't change, unfortunately, and sometimes time is the best thing for things to get better. Hang in there! Sounds like you were lucky with the storm. Bummer about the car but the good news you guys wern't hurt! I guess a lot of people don't have power. With the heat, that would be awful!
I'm looking forward to getting a new scrip for my eyes. There has been a huge change over the last two years. Am thinking cataracts are part of the equation. Such is life.
I have to check in on Jaz. Haven't talked to her in a few weeks and she was having puter problems. I'll give her a holler and report back.

Amy nice that your vacation was nice but sorry about the bad storms the day after returning. Thankfully you and your family were not hurt. Also sorry about your stepdaughter ~ You will be wiser next time she asks for something. Hopefully like Mare said, just give it time and she will grow up at some point.

G started her 2nd phase of swim lessons yesterday morning. It is the same as the last session. 6 lessons in 3 weeks.
