I am still up so will open the Room. Has anyone heard from Jeanne as she has not posted here or at FB lately. I hope she is doing well. I have a Memorial Service to go to tomorrow. One of our long time church members passed away in May while our pastor was in Scotland for her daughter's graduation from Veterenary school so the family want to wait until Pastor Toni got back. He was 92 and the main usher at the church for many years. Otherwise not much going on till Monday when I do my Secret Shopper job. Pat, it sounds like you are extremely busy. Roma and CBW, hope you are both well.
Hi Maryann and the Roses to follow! Slow weekend for us too. Joe painted our front door red the other day...I think to cheer me up. It looks really nice. I have always wanted the door red and it's a really pretty shade too. Lots of garage sales in the "hood" today. I'll walk around later to see if I can find any more stuff I don't need. I should've known what GNO was! One of my favorite pastimes. Our book club is diminishing, sadly, with my friend Barbara moving away we are down to five. I think now we are going to meet at a restaurant for lunch. That works for me. I've been wondering about Jeannie too. Gee, I wish people would just check in. No sun again today but I have to say...I really enjoy the cool. It's not raining so people can enjoy the weekend.

Hi Girls, We are at 102º right now at 3:00 and it is rising up to 106º......I don't care what anybody says that is FRIGGIN hot! So we got up this morning did laundry and left the house by 9:30 to get our errands done early. We ran to Home Depot ....the light over our kitchen table broke somehow and it's been like that for about 4 months so we decided it was time to buy a new one...Ken is replacing it as I type! We went to Costco which was right next door...stocked up on all the stuff that was needed, a quick run to the Liquor Store to pick up some Coconut rum...and home for the rest of the weekend!!

Ohhhh I almost forgot about Magic Mike let me just say there were some FINE looking men in that movie....and the way they moved....YEEHAW!! ....it was so much fun....being with 12 other gals....we went out for drinks before the movie then the movie theater was one of those that you can order food and drinks...so we continued having fun there too....we were pretty loud and rowdy....good times!
