.....it is WHAT it is.....
Hi everyone.
DH is at work and I'm waiting for the repairman to get here. I want to get the oil changed in the Edge and may have to go bring DH home a little early today. He is not ready to spend the whole day there yet.
Pat - I don't know how you manage working both in and out of the office with all the over 100 degrees days out there. Guess it's just a matter of dealing with it as best you can.
Welcome Eleanor. Glad to know you enjoy reading our Rose Room postings. So many of our members are not able to get here as much as we would like to. My DH has Parkinson's and is now starting out patience physical therapy. When he is home he wants me to be with him, not on the computer. One daughter, 29 years old, single and living at home again. She went to AZ to get her Masters degree and wound up staying there for 6 years. Plase tell your DH Thank you for your service to our country.
Better get back to work. My kitchen is calling me.
Have a wonderful day.
Dori
Good morning, Buds! It's nice to see you, Dori! I know it's hard for you to get here and I appreciate you're checking in! Do you have to go w/your dh when he does therapy?
Maryann and Maizey...both with computer problems. Hate it when that happens. So far I've been very happy with this HP. It's been a year and I haven't had a lick of trouble. So far so good. Guess I shouldn't be saying that..bad luck sometimes.
Welcome, Eleanor! I hope you'll drop by often. This is a great place to share some of your activities. We've been Rose Room buds for a long time and always welcome a new person to share our experiences. Please tell us a little more about yourself. We do share recipes here and that's always nice cuze it's tried out with good reviews. I live in NW Oregon, have been married forever and we both are retired and have two sons. One of my grand daughters is visiting for the week so I've been pretty busy enjoying some activities with her. Samantha is 12 so she's kind of "inbetween". Yesterday it was baking cookies and swimming. Always something going on. Sara is here too so lots of chattering going on! I am so glad the "cousins" are such good friends.
I spent a couple of hours yesterday with my friend who is undergoing chemo. It is really boring for her so we had a brown bag lunch and had a really good visit. All of the people there were sooooo nice.
I'd better throw some pancakes on the grill. They always wake up starved!

Is there a greater fault than being conscious of the other person's faults?
Kahlil Gibran
Hi again.
DH doesn't drive anymore Roma. I take him to therapy and either go in and see how he is doing or bring a book and read in the waiting room. Back in the day his therapy used to be 1 hour each session. Now it's only 1/2 hour. Don't think I'll get much reading done this time around. Nice that you have the girls with you. They can keep each other company if you have other things to do and even enjoy their visit more.
The repair man was here and gone now. I can either get the oil changed or pick up DH and go to the bank. Guess I'll have to flip a coin.
Enjoy your day.
Roma, Tim is having problems downloading Windows 7 to the computer and it is a Bios thing. I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed he will be bringing it in on Thursday. It is a pain to be without it. It is supposed to be back up to 100 by Saturday and Sunday. I am also supposed to work the prayer tent on Friday from 10-12 at the fair. There a couple of fires here in my county and Lassen Park has a big fire.
