    Good Morning Ladies - - HAPPY BIRRTHDAY - MARY ANN - Hope you have a great day!  Enjoy.

    I think I'm doing better - what a relief.  I got to bed last night, but didn;t sleep real good - I couldn't get warm - I finially got up and grabbed my fleese throw and put that on top the other bedding and by morning I was pleanty warm. I did have good rest if not sleep.  Things kinds settled down yesterday - not over, but much better - I had a cup of chicken noodle soup and dish of jello at lunch and dinner time.  Stayed down.

    Hope everyone else is doing well - haven't heard from Maizxey for awhile - Roma I enjoyed hearing about your lemon - enjoy it.

    Happy to hear you are now on the road to recovery Jane!! That was a doozey of a flu!!!

    I'll bet Jane is glad it's Friday!!! Thank goodness you are feeling better. That was a nasty bug!  You'll be pleased when you hit the  scales tho,LOL! Not a good way to lose weight!

     

    Sounds like Steve got you guys winterized, Diana. My plum tree still has all it's leaves...Tom says they'll drop all at the same time. Well, at least that makes for an easier job.

     

    We had fun this morning!  We have a friendly competion with a neighbor going with the annual war football game between the Beavers and the Ducks....UofO vs OSU!  It's a lot of fun and we have to get creative every year. This year Dave (the neighbor)hired the hi school band to play the OSU song in front of our house at 10:00AM this morning complete with fire cracklers! What fun! Tom even raised the OSU flag for him on our pole. Not to outdown I bribed the director to play the UofO fight song too!  Nice way to start the day!

     

    I'm off to meet a good (old) friend in  Portland for lunch. Haven't seen her in a while so it will be nice.

    Don't have much time but wanted to say Happy Birthday Maryann.

    Glad Jane is feeling a bit better.

    Diana - Nice to have a handy man around the house.

    Roma - Hope you had a nice lunch and fun with your good friend.  Old friends or 

    Loooooong time friends are always nice to catch up with.
