Good morning.
Hope I'm not too late for the coffee, Lynn.
((((((Puff))))))) I know you must be beside yourself with worrying about the California fires and your son; not to mention how much you were looking forward to your trip.

Hi ladies. I've been prayin for all involved with the fires in one way shape or form. I'm very grateful for our weather. I've come down with a headache since my last post. Bed is looking better and better by the minute.
I was so mad at myself yesterday. I recieved noticed from my bank I bounced a check!!! How could I have miscalculated. That's totally not good because that means I have no money. Uff da! The good part is my bank will cover from my savings for a $5.00 transfer fee. Sigh......

Lynn I have to go to the computer shop at 9 till 1 than hair shop 2 to 7. I said I would have dinner with my stalker but it will be hard , I have to come home first to let Harley out & feed her & the cats.
DH left for Raliegh last night:(
My back has been killing me so I took a whole pain killer LOL I'm a woos & usually only take half!! I watched 20 minutes of The Biggest Loser. Knocked my butt out!! I woke up on the couch at 10:30 got up & shut everthing off & hit the bed. I still feel woozie!!
Maizey I have a new kitty at the hair shop! She's all black I named her Boo. She was skin & bones I got her some canned tuna in oil & some dry cat food. She looks so much better! Joker from the bike shop said he would feed her for me. He will not admit her likes her LOL!

Here's the free Gooseberry Patch Recipe
Fiesta Cornbread
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
8-oz. can creamed corn
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
3/4 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. oil
1 c. shredded Cheddar or Pepper Jackcheese, divided
Combine all ingredients except oil and cheese in a large bowl; mix well. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet; pour in half the batter. Sprinkle with half the cheese; pour remaining batter over cheese. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut into wedges. Makes 6 to 9 servings.

Good Morning Ladies - We had a great day yesterday, and hope today will be as nice...Too dark to know though now.
I was home from work and went to Healthy Lifestyles, and was makings my potato soup when I got a call and it was SIL & BIL and they were comming up this way to look at a puppy. Long story short, good thing I was making the soup - Had dinner guests, but not until after 8 - I really don't like to eat that late, but I guess you go with the flow - - What do you do?
I did get up and watch when the good parts of DWTS came on!

Good Morning Roses!
How is everyone today? It is cold and rainy in Ohio. Soup weather here, too.
IM- 300000 miles on one car? WOW! Hope the new one does just as good for you.
Tango- Your new kitty sounds cute.
Jane- What is healthy lifestyles?
Do any of you have any good recipes for Kielbasa? We bought 3 lbs. at Sam's club and I'm tired of cooking it the same old way.

Pip, being as it's soup weather, how about this.
KIELBASA SOUP
5 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
2 cans chicken broth
2 cans chopped tomatoes
carrots
onions
1/2 package noodles
1 pkg of kielbasa
Slice kielbasa into thin slices and combine all ingredients a in large pot. Boil until potatoes and carrots are tender. Fill bowl with soup and top with Parmesan cheese and butter.

Good morning everyone.
Kelly's Mission: Clean off the nightstands, dust the surface and place a pretty candle or picture there. Something that is new to that spot and you love to see.
Holiday Cruising Mission #8: Take your Holiday Control Book and write down the sizes for your family, height, sizes for shirts, pants, PJs, dresses, shoes, etc. When you start getting the phone calls asking "what size is Timmy?" you have it handy.
Diana - Thanks for sending the pictures. Sweetie sure is a sweetie. That's a nice tradition using your christening dress.
Tango - We have 2 cats that visit DH's shop. We feed them but they won't let you get near them. The Tabby doesn't look well. I'm afraid for her with winter coming. Cool that the guy will feed Boo "for you". Thanks for the recipe. Sounds good.
Jane - Sounds like a nice evening with the relatives. Soup is always good.
Pip - Do a search on this board. I got a very good recipe from here where you cook the sourkraut with onions, bay leaf and wine first then add the Kielbasa. Or you could wait till I come home and I'll post it for you.
I'm going out today. Breakfast and some shopping then I have a Dr. appointment later. Laundry is in but that's it so far.
Have a great day.
