Good afternoon. Everyone must be really busy after the Easter holiday. I am doing okay and not much going on here. Hope you all had a great Easter. Blessings to all.
Not much going on here either. Had a nice dinner at my SIL's yesterday. To much food.
Hope everyone had a nice Easter. Nephew J and his wife were there. Don't get to see much of them but we had a nice time.
I have a few more things to do before DH gets home. Have a great evening.
A fun Easter for us. Went to dinner at Hayden's and he was in fine form. Went out and did the egg hunt and giggled through it all. He was in the best mood as both sets of grandparent's were there. Guess he was going home with the other set last night as they're to go clamming today. He's all set with raincoat, boots, and new gloves. Not that he needs a raincoat as the sun is shining so nicely. It got up to 71° yesterday and supposed to do the same today. Just a couple of errands for me to do. Then I need to make a side dish for tonight. It's the potluck at church for Empty Nesters. I've no idea what to make yet. Hoping to be inspired while I'm out and about.
Some days, I can literally see the testosterone floating in the air around here.
Glad to see so many nice Easters! Ours was especiallty nice too. Started out going to Portland to take Joe to brunch. Had a lovely time and got him back about 5:00 then buzzed home and went to Dan's at 6:00. They had a bbq with the best ribs! Potatoe salad, deviled eggs, beans.....all the good stuff. Today is Dan's birthday but we'll wait until next week to celebrate. They just have too much going on and Corey's b'day is coming up so we'll do them together at our house. I know Mary will appreciate that.
Our weather yesterday was just glorius. the weather people called it really wrong...thank goodness. AIt was warm and just a sensational day. We all just glowed with the sunshine.
I tried to get here yesterday but the the site was down...or not working right. They must've had some problems for part of the day.
Nothing else new.....have a busy week. Have to have the ding on the car repaired tomorrow so Tom will be following me into Beaverton then we'll come home and he'll have to bring me back but he owes me one of those trips. Pay back is sometimes not too fun.
Is there a greater fault than being conscious of the other person's faults?
We had a nice Easter. Great weather, full sun. I hid eggs outside (was nice to be able to have the Easter egg hunt outside) before the kids all got here. Alex's boy friend has and brought his 4 1/2 yr old son. He is the same age as Jordyn. So we had 4 kids and they all had a great time. Lots of food also. We finished up around 4:30. We went to Jamie's so Steve could do a quick repair for her. We walked into her home about 10 minutes after her and the girls got there. I said to Jordyn as I walked in, Hi Jordyn, it's been so long since I've seen you.... LOL! She just looks at me like, huh?? LOL! Anyway then it was on to the airport ~ Getting back to normal today and even more so tomorrow as G goes back to pre-school. Next week is it's last week, she will be so bummed!! We'll still have play group & lap sit til the end of May tho...
Good to see everyone had a good Easter. Good family time...
We are so dry here and very much in need of rain.
Time to hit the hay ~~~
