I know I could easily use Super Bowl recipes but I wonder if anyone has thought of any creative recipes for Nascar watching.
What kind of recipes are you looking for...heavy appetizers, snacks, buffet type? For a lot of people of just a few?
One that's always popular, fun and retro is pigs in a blanket. Whenever I make them, people are like, "I love these but never make them!" There are never any left! I've got some others I'll post too.

Your question brought to mind a birthday party I had for my son when he was younger (and a Jeff Gordon fan). I made my favorite pasta salad using the wheel-shaped pasta - you could adapt any recipe you have for that. I also made a snack mix I called "nuts and bolts," which was the "puppy chow" recipe, and I substituted Cheerios and pretzel sticks for the Crispix cereal. (If you don't have recipe for puppy chow, let me know and I will post it). Hope this helps!
