I just received my August/September issue of Simple & Delicious, and I noticed that the price-per-serving information is not listed on all of the recipes, as it usually is. I really rely on that info, since I am on an extremely limited budget. Is this just an oversight, or a permanent change to the magazine's layout? I would really miss having that info. I hate to think that they might be changing it.
Thanks for posting, Slmacbeth! Yes, we did decide to change the way we list the price-per-serving information in each issue starting with the August/September issue. Going forward, we plan to include that information in the Simple Planning and Simple Shortcuts sections, roughly half of the magazine and the sections that are specifically weeknight meal and everyday-dinner focused. We choose to continue to list the price-per-serving information in those sections because our readers have told us that they prepare those recipes most often. As a need to reallocate our resources and not pass the expense on to our customers, we’ve decided to leave it out of the special features and Simple Pleasures sections.
