    Thanks for the quilting ideas

    I just got my new Country Woman magazine last week and have already completed the baby quilt that was in there.  It was such a cute design and I just happened to need a quilt, so I picked up the fabric on Saturday and got to work on Sunday afternoon and before my programs came on TV Sunday evening, I had the top done and ready to go to the quilter to be finished!  It was quick and easy and so-o-o- much fun to see it take shape!  I'm not one for applique, so I used a fancy stitch around the "worms" head and it came out just great.  Thanks again--keep the patterns coming.  things & quilt 008

    Wow! Good for you! I bet it turned out beautiful. I have never quilted before but have always wanted to try. Maybe one day I will take the plundge and make one of the patterns in CW.

    Wow -- we knew this quilt went together fast, but we didn't expect it could happen that fast! You rock, Carm! :)  And thanks for the tip about stitching around the worms' heads -- fun variation.
