    Montreal Steak Spice

    Does anyone have a recipe for Montreal Steak Spice that has mustard seed in it? Our favorite brand  has mustard seed  and we would like to make it as close to that as possible. Thanks to anyone who can help.

    went agoogling....and found several recipes...here is one...without amounts...sorry but they just listed the ingredients....so you use your judgement...

    crushed black pepper

    kosher salt

    coriander seed

    dill

    mustard seed

    dried onion

    dried garlic

    red pepper flakes

    rosemary

    thyme

    paprika

    caraway seed

    False

    Thank you so much I'll try it. It sounds like what I've been looking for. I think I'll try equal amounts of the the spices except the salt. That's the problem we have with the store bought stuff is it is way to salty. I would like to make my own healthier version. Thanks again, Isobelle.
