I am experiencing my first billing issue with Taste of Home, after being a subscriber for several years and having no previous problems.
My online account info was showing a outstanding balance of $10 for an order that was placed from my email address yesterday(9.20.12). I did not place such an order, as my current subscription doesn't not expire for quite some time.
I would have continued to be billed if I hadn't called customer care. Some folks probably even pay bills that they aren't quite familiar with when the amount is small - $10. The rep was pleasant and polite and agreed to cancel the order.
The problem has been fixed:) but it makes me wonder if this was a sales tactic or if my email address has been hi-jacked - altho I haven't experienced any other problems.
Chris I don't think it was either. I can't explain exactly what happened and I'm glad Customer Service solved this for you so quickly.
I'm sorry for the mix up.
