My Greatest Cooking TriumphMy greatest cooking triumph, would have to be my very first full thanksgiving dinner. I had only really started cooking about 4 months earlier, I was 1500 miles away from all my family for the first time, I was pregnant with #2 and it was just me, hubby and our 2 year old. I made a small turkey and small ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, twice-baked sweet potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, green-bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, and the crowning acheivement was duplicating my grandmother's stuffing. The turkey was juicy and everything was wonderful!!We had leftovers every night for a week, but I think that's when I realized everything was going to be okay, I had a man who believed I could do anything, the beginning of a wonderful family...and I could make my grandmothers stuffing!!!No matter what else happened, bad or good, I had what I needed.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterCurried Pea Salad!! NO ONE would eat it!!!! Not even my husband, though he tried.
My Food For ThoughtDon't forget the love, if you make it with love, from love, for love, you can't screw it up!!
