Am a divorced, single Mom who has spent my time raising three precocious teenage children. Will be facing the empty nest syndrome soon so until that time will enjoy spending what time I have left with my children. Will also be taking some time for myself, finishing old projects, and finding new hobbies. I enjoy food and am open to experimenting with different cuisines. Know that reality food show that has people eating the grossest things? I invented it before it was a reality show. I called it the "Taster's Choice" Game (after the old Taster's Choice Coffee commercials .. lol) with my younger brother (we were really bored one winter). The only rules were that your eyes had to be closed with no peeking; and you had to accept whatever food was placed in your mouth without grimacing or spitting it out. It was brutal without taking it to extremes.
Helping my Mom with Thanksgiving Dinner each year. My mother owns my kitchen with the exception of holidays. It is the only time of the year I exercise my "kitchen rights". I view it as a handing off of holiday baton from one generation to another.
Forgot to remove the innards from the Thanksgiving Turkey. Let's just say that instead of a healthy stock it oozed a putrid green slime which stunk. Yuck! Fortunately, I had no guests that year, my ex was working, and my children were too small to notice much less care. We had fried chicken instead.
