I am 39 years old with 3 beautiful children, 2 girls and one boy, we love to cook together.. they are more into the sweet part of cooking such as cookies and pies etc... I love the more substantial cooking, roasts and potatoes etc... This is our first Christmas without my dad who lived with us. I went back to college and I am in the process of getting my degree to become an advocate for the elderly. I am and have been a home health care professional for 23 years, I want to make a difference for the elderly if I can.
The first time I made gravy and you couldn't stand a spoon in it! My dad was so proud!! LOL
The day I let the kids back the pumpkin pies for the holiday dinner.. there was pumpkin every where including in their hair! That isn't even talking about the home made noodles they had a fight with earlier in the day!! LOL Love cooking with my kids!
If you can't make time to go play with your kids the next best thing is cooking with them, while you are cooking there is always time to talk and laugh over the days events or to fix a problem for them... Take the time to tell those you love that you really love them, you never know how long you have with them!
