About Me: I am a 52 years old. Have been widowed for 15 years. I have two grown children, one granddaughter, and a boy on the way. At the moment we have one cat "Elise", but I may be heir to my Mama's 'mountain lion' (tongue in cheek), although I am praying that she lives longer than him, and a friend has said she is going to leave me her parrot, although I am praying the same for her. I have lived in Ontario, Germany(6 years) and New Brunswick. My favorite place in Canada to live is New Brunswick. I have been blessed in that I have been able to travel; visiting England, Holland, Leichtenstein, Switzerland, France, Greece, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg and of course throughout Germany. Here in Canada I have visited throughout Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEIsland, and Newfoundland. I have been on the board since November of 2001. I, along with GrannyFay, GrandmaK, and Gratefulpatty head up the Prayer Circle daily. My Mama is "charliesmama" and she has been on the board about a year. I love to cook. I started fairly young. My Mama had to work, so I would have supper ready when she got home. I love to try new recipes and enjoy tweaking them. Baking is my favorite thing in the cooking area, but I usually do it when there is a potluck at church or I have people over, that way they can share in the eating part. I love music and love to sing. I am an active member in my Church, I teach Bible Study and am on several committees, but the greatest thing about going to Church is being with God in His house. I love kids, especially babies. My girls call me the baby magnet, because no matter where I am I have to stop and talk to all the babies and little ones. Our children are our future in our countries and Churches and it is so important that they know how precious and wanted and needed they are!

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Gosh! That is a hard one!

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I have a disaster everytime I am a combination of tired, stressed and leave everything to the last minute.

My Food For Thought: Even though you might not believe in God, He exists and believes in you. He created you, and loves you. Everything in this world passes away except God. He loves you so much that He wants to have a personal relationship with you, to help you through life, the hard times as well as the good times, to give a deeper meaning to your life. He wants to give you a lasting joy that is not dependant on circumstances. My prayers are with all of you, that you may find the true meaning of life in Him.
