Late middle age, puts me less than 10 years from retirement. Part time work outside my home on the night shift. My Husband of 30+ years is the same. We live in the forest of Eastern Washington on 10 acres of wooded land and have our own garden in the summer. In the winter, I hibernate while he plows snow. I don't ski, snowboard, or play outside in the winter, but I have been known to throw a snowball. I love wood fires, and quiet music. Slow dancing by candlelight, suppers for two, and chocolate. We still hold hands when we walk. And will sit in the hot tub for hours, watching the stars and talking about anything from the past, present or future. I seldom drink alcohol, but have nothing against it for those who drink moderately. We love to have people over.
No one leaves my house hungry.
When I discovered my husband had substituted corn meal for cornstarch in the pepper steak. Pretty much unsalvagable.
With love everything is possible. Even Cheesecake.
