I am married to a wonderful man who is my bestfriend. We have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We buried our first born grandbaby 9 years ago, When I think of her and wonder what she would look like now, it still leaves me gasping for air. I drive a tractor trailer (semi) for a living. I'm on the road alot and miss good home cooked meals. You just can't find that kind of food on the road.
When I was about 9 or 10 years old, my parents had a old style oven. To light the oven we needed to turn the gas on and stick a match in a hole to get it started. Being so young and never doing it before.... I turned the gas on and walked away to get the matches. When I returned striking the match, all of a sudden and without warning, the oven blew up shaking the windows and scrambling the eggs sitting on the counter. I thought I was doing a good thing by helping out. Needless to say, I was in so much trouble with my parents. That experience has left me fearful of gas stoves/ovens. To this day, I use electric.
