Went I got to college like most freshmen I party hopped but I did'nt like what I was seeing.It was loud,crude,all of the food was store bought and it lacked class.More importantly everyone there was having a good time expect for me!!I stopped going.I started throwing smaller dinner parties,with only a select bunch of friends(those who would appreciate it,as this isn't for everyone) quiet jazz, and really good comfort cooking.It does'nt have to be loud and rambunctious to be a good time.I like to believe I invented the sophisticated college party.Ok no I did'nt(LOL) but I have managed to show a really good and classy time to alot of people!!!
It gives me great pleasure knowing that at 22 years old when most people my age are serving frozen wings,at their parties my friends come over not only are they expecting a great dinner but the are expecting a fab decor.I deliver!!
The first time I made clover leaf rolls it was horrible!!!!The yeast was old and been opened for at least 7 months.The shortening was also old.I'd had it for about 8 months.The bread was supposed to rise twice.....it never rose once!!LOL. So I decided to go ahead and bake them,they rose only very slightly and when they came out the tasted like shortening!!I have since then learned!!
