About Me: Mother of six. I have worked at Wal-Mart in Charlotte for the past 13 years. Just had a new grandchild, who is the light of my life.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: I mastered cooking with yeast. i was always afraid of recipes that included yeast. However I conquered my fear, with a very easy roll recipe. I was just thrilled and so very proud of my myself. I am not afraid of yeast anymore. LOL

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: When I was first married I wanted to impress my husband by making a big pot of chicken soup. After the chicken simmered for hours I drained the soup to catch the broth. But I forgot to put a bowl under the colander. All my broth went down the sink, leaving me with just cooked chicken, celery, carrots, and onions.
