About Me: I'm 56 yo and have been happily married for 36 years. It is just my DH and me and my spoiled cockatiel, Gizmo. I have 5 grands that keep me happy and tired. I love to bake and my 4 yo DGD LOVES to help gramma in the kitchen. DH and I travel when we can. I love reading, jig-saw puzzles, crocheting and anything else that catches my fancy.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Sometime ago I made a beautiful 6 layer wedding cake for my best friend's daughter's wedding. I also did the extra cakes and petit fours.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I burnt a turkey in 30 minutes. I put it in the oven and the dial was on Broil instead of Bake.
