I'm the mom of 6 total. DH and I have a blended family, and have been married a year and a half. We were together 7 1/2yrs prior to our wedding and finally decided it was time. His 2 are with us about 100% of the time, they only get to their mom's once or twice a year (her choice). She knows where we live, and chooses not to see her kids. My kids are with us 50% of the time and at their dad's 50%. I work full time as an ICU charge nurse at a nice, suburban hospital.

When everyone in the house hated my new recipe for dinner and the dogs didn't even like it! That's bad!!!
There are worse things than dying. My job is to save peoples' lives, but it is also to help them die in peace, when it's their time.
