Ohio boy living in the Pacific Northwest. We are located about 20 miles from Spokane, WA and live amidst the mountains and lakes. We have lots to do around here: skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, eagle watching, lots of wildlife (bears, deer, elk, moose, turkeys, cougars, wolves, etc.)
Most of my triumphs occur on the grill. I can cook practically ANYTHING on the grill and often do. I recently smoked a corned beef brisket (aka Pastrami) and that turned out well. I also make some KILLER ribs and also a pretty mean Pulled Pork. About 3 years ago, I invested in a Weber Performer grill and it has been the best grill I have owned (and I have owned plenty!). The heat can be controlled very easily, I have a double hinged grate so that I can add charcoal easily to the baskets, and the grill uses propane to light the charcoal up and get it going, then you just shut it off!
Well, it wasn't mine, but I was blamed! I jhad ust bought a new bottle of Balsamic Vinegar and put it in the cupboard above the stove. Well, my wife went rooting around up there for some tea, and being short, didn't see the vinegar. Needless to say, the bottle fell out of the cupboard, hit the stove and EXPLODED all over the kitchen. That's right.....the walls.....the counters.....the cupboards......between the stove and the counter....the rugs......the floor.....everywhere!!!
