About Me: I live in Omaha, NE. I would like to retire to Colorado. It is my favorite state. I adore the mountains. You really can smell a Rocky Mountain High. I'm a homemaker. I have three chronic illnesses that make it impossible for me to work outside of my home. It's taken about a year and a half but I've accepted that a I won't work outside of my home again. It was a big adjustment for me. I like to write, cook, crafts, home improvement and decorating. I love water. Lakes, rivers, ponds, streams...

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: I won special seating at a Taste of Home Cooking school from a local paper. My Hot Spiced Chicken Drumsticks took first place in the appetizer category in the contest.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Trying to cook rice and fresh broccoli in the steamer at the same time. I don't recommend that.
