About Me: I am a caregiver for my dear mother(who had several strokes) and two wonderful children. (I say children but they are young adults) My family is my life and my love. My son is going to be a tour guide on Mackinac Island this summer for the second season. (3 horse team) My daughter will be graduated from High School on May 22nd. (my baby girl) I have a dashund (Inky) and a adopted Siameese kitty (Holly but answers to Kitty). =^..^=

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Cooking on a budget and doing it well...in a pinch can make do.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: ANTS all over the cabnets in cupboards before company came for a dinner party! Summer time and couldn't spray with RAID! I used red pepper and cyanne and baby powder! Worked and a quick fix! WHEW!!!

My Food For Thought: I copied this a while back and have it on my fridge! Thank God for dirty dishes! They have a tale to tell: While others may go hungry, We're eating very well. With home and health and happiness, I shouldn't want to fuss, For by the stack of evidence, God's been good to us.
