Contact Lanier

I have been married for 33 years (oh my gosh!) and I am a true farm wife. I know the little rabbit on the tractor means to go faster and the little turtle means to slow down! We live on a farm in South Georgia and I love the area where we live. I am our church organist and have been playing for many, many (o.k. ....forever) years. I work at a Technical College and every day is a different challenge. I love living vicariously through this Board and all the talented cooks that share their knowledge so willingly.
Thanksgiving dinner for 125 people!
When I first married I thought I could tackle a chicken recipe that had a wine sauce. Needless to say, I didn't know anything about chicken and certainly didn't know anything about wine and our guest, still to this day, reminds me of that "Drunk Chicken" dish!
I realize as I get older the importance of the gift of time. For everything there is a time and a season. In the rush of everyday life I sometimes forget to stop and appreciate all that life offers.
