About Me: I am a young ' 59yrs", love the outdoors, animals and "being green". Have two wonderful sons and 4 small grands, 3 boys and 1 girl. Came to Australia in 1965, mother German father Scottish, I was born in Scotland, the eldest of 7. I live alone now, having raised my sons from ages 2 and 4, they live a few hours away and I never thought I would find it so lonely, but, I guess it is time for "me" now, most of my friends seem to be at the end of this computer, isn't technology great!

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Ummm! has to be my famous "Pfefferkuchen" houses, look forward to baking them each Christmas.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Forgetting to put the sugar into the Lebkuchen mix for my houses, the year I had just flown back in from overseas!! jet lag was my excuse!
