About Me: Hi, I am the Associate Food Editor for Simple and Delicious Magazine. (Which means I spend half the time in front of my computer and the other half in the test kitchen. I'm sure you can imagine which is more fun!). I live in an old Victorian Mansion that we converted to a Bed and Breakfast with my husband Andy and two sons Maxwell and Grayson. Grayson's best friend Angus recently moved in with us as well. Andy runs the Bed and breakfast full-time and I help out when I can. I especially love serving fabulous brunch and breakfast recips that I've tried in the taste of Home test kitchen.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Andy and I have large families, and since we have the largest house I get to do much of the entertaining, especially Christmas. I usually do a themed meal. And once I got to do a wedding for Andys nephew at our house, I did all the cooking and the wedding cake!

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Right after we got married, we had some friends over for dinner and I made a seafood lasagna. When we sat down to dinner, they both said, "We like anything except seafood!" So, I have learned always to ask first before having guests over for dinner.

My Food For Thought: My philosophy is always learing about food, new techniques, new ingredients, and I seldom make a recipe twice. So many recipes, so little time.
