My name is Sasha Hall. I am a newly wed, and I am just learning how to really cook. With an Indian background, we always had a diverse menu. I married a down home country kind of guy, and I'm slowly but surely learning how to cook for him. We both work full time and finding time to cook a good meal, is easier said than done. I am open to any and all recipies that will help us as we start our new life together.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph thus far was using a recipie for sweet butter rolls from the Taste of Home Magazine. My husband said they tasted just like his grandma's which was one of the greatest compliments I've ever recieved!
My biggest kitchen disaster cannot be narrowed down to just one disaster. My most recent one was when I was making a carmel apple pie that I was going to take to my parents house, and instead of putting 4 teaspoons, I mis read and put 4 tablespoons in the mixture with the apples. Unfortunately I realized my mistake too late when I took it over to my parents house very proud of the way it looked, and they took their first bite they swallowed in politeness, however I knew something had gone wrong. I've sinced learned from my mistake, and plan to make a better apple pie this weekend!YUM!
