About Me: I am of Cherokee Indian and Choctaw Indian descent. I am a SSA Certified Disabled PWD (Person With Disabilities). I am a parent of an adult child who has Autism and Mental Retardation. My only child is also a SSA Certified Disabled PWD. I am a Disabilities Rights Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate. I am also an Anti-Bullying (Peer Abuse) Activist-Advocate-Self Advocate. This is one of my husband's favorites. It makes an easy meal for Sunday dinner. The tangy barbecue sauce gets a hint of sweetness from apricot preserves. - Lorenda Spain, Dumas, Texas.
California Fresh Fruit Dip
I tried this dip at a potluck lunch and loved it. I think it represents my region because of the abundance of fresh fruit grown in California. My family especially enjoys it as a refreshing snack on hot summer afternoons.
