About Me: I was born on Camp Pendleton base, CA in 1967, grew up all over but mostly in the Illinois area (Scott Air Force Base/Belleville), then lived in St. Louis, Cincinatti, and now WV as an adult, but consider St. louis my home. I am single with a 15 year old daughter and two dogs. I work full time with juvenile delinquents and go to college full time. I am also a peer educator for the university. I go out and speak to young adults about safe sex, smoking cessation, drugs, alcohol and anything else that needs taken care of or addressed. I am a Christian and enjoy my singles Sunday school group.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: When I fully catered a wedding rehearsal dinner and did a smaller version of the wedding cake.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Back when DD was a baby, I followed a recipe in Parents magazine that was a chocolate cake with broccoli in it. It was awful! Yuck! The memories...ugh!

My Food For Thought: I truly believe in treating others how you would want to be treated. I try to do the right thing, I am not perfect by a long stretch, but I try to live the good (right) life and be a good role model to my daughter, and the kids I work with.
