About Me: I have been working as a church secretary for a year now and love it. We have a garden in our backyard which my husband mostly tends to, but I put up whatever we can in the freezer. I have two cats, Freddie the Freeloader, and Smokey Joe. Freddie is two years and old and Smokey just turned 4. I have a wonderful husband whom I have been married to for nearly three years.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Pot roast and vegetables, Brisket, Barbecued chicken, bread pudding, and pies and cakes.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Took a pumpkin cake out of the oven to put it on a cooling rack. The pot holders slid off of the side of the glass cake pan and flipped right over empting it's contents on my kitchen floor. The glass broke and it took me forever to clean up the mess. Needless to say my dear husband did not have dessert that evening.

My Food For Thought: Thank the Lord everyday for your blessings for there are many.
