My Greatest Cooking Triumph: The first time I had my parents over to dinner. I had made a roast, roasted potatoes and carrots and some side dishes. My Dad had owned his own restaurant and was an excellent cook. As they were leaving he turned to me and said..."That was a great meal, thank you." :o)

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: One Thanksgiving I had everything prepared in advance, I just knew I would be able to sit back and relax with the family and guests. I THOUGHT I had everything under control until I went to check on the turkey.... I had set the timer and forgot to turn the oven on... thank God my SIL had brought a cooked turkey over, she had a house full of kids and did not want me to run out of turkey, especially with the hungry brood I had at the time.
